The Final Battle of Past and Future

"Hmph!"

Thanos threw back his head with a cold snort, then raised Tyrant's Blade high and directly withstood the rainbow pillar of light. In the end, it only blasted him backward, his legs plowing trenches through the ground for over ten meters.

Thor, Tony, Steve Rogers, Rhodes, and the others emerged from the Bifrost and stood together before Thanos.

"I have to admit, you have courage."

Thanos planted one end of Tyrant's Blade into the ground and smiled with the lofty bearing of a superior being. "I looked through Nebula's memories. After suffering such a crushing defeat at my hands, you still managed to pull yourselves together and try to undo what has already happened."

Thanos looked around, his gaze seeming to pierce into the distance and fall upon those "lucky ones" whom Hulk and Banner had restored with a snap of his fingers after Thanos had previously erased them in the Snap.

"How utterly foolish!"

Thanos's tone abruptly changed, turning arrogant and furious. "You made the wrong choice, and I have come to correct your foolish and naïve mistake once more!"

Thanos pulled Tyrant's Blade from the ground, its tip pointing directly at Thor, Tony, and the others.

Thor, Tony, and the rest spread out, circling toward Thanos from both sides as they each searched for the right opportunity and position to strike.

Killing intent filled the air. Battle was about to erupt!

"You refused to accept defeat, so what has that gotten you now? You still have to face me."

Thanos's tone became calm once more, but the undercurrent and storm beneath that calm had built to their limit. "I thought that by eliminating half of all life, the other half could flourish. But you proved to me..."
