Chapter Summaries

Kahn and Eclipse prepared Wano’s defenses as the World Government assembled pardoned convicts, new Admirals, and Elbaf’s warriors for an invasion. The chapter ended with Douglas Bullet’s ships nearing Wano while the antimatter cannon was still charging.

• Tony and Vegapunk advanced construction of the Destroyer and tested its layered defenses, while Kahn stopped Tony from firing at the armor sample.
• Kahn sensed powerful enemies approaching, and Sabo reported that the Five Elders had released Bullet, Red Count, and World, promoted Fujitora and Ryokugyu, and hired Elbaf’s Berserker Legion.
• Kahn ordered Tony to divert power from civilian grids and charge the antimatter cannon for the invaders’ arrival in Wano’s waters.
• Kahn told Sabo to send Ace and Luffy out to sea with their new equipment to test the Super-Soldier Serum in combat.
• Thirty nautical miles from Wano, Douglas Bullet sailed toward the floating battleship and vowed to challenge Kahn.

Patrick Redfield, Byrnndi World, Douglas Bullet, and Kizaru traveled through the Calm Belt under the World Government’s amnesty, then chose to attack Water 7 instead of heading directly to Wano Country. Their warships changed course at World’s command, putting the Eclipse industrial island in the path of the old-era criminals.

• Patrick Redfield drained three giant sea kings with his blood mist, frightening the Marines and driving the others away.
• Byrnndi World multiplied a cannonball’s speed and power to propel the flagship, sending waves crashing into the escort ship and throwing its crew into disarray.
• World and Douglas Bullet nearly fought after exchanging insults, but Kizaru intervened and reminded them that their target was Eclipse in Wano Country.
• World examined the chart and proposed attacking Water 7, while the Red Count and Bullet backed his plan to destroy the factories and force Eclipse’s leader to confront them.
• World threatened Kizaru when he objected, then ordered the ships to change course for Water 7, and the two warships accelerated toward the island.

Byrnndi World attacked Water 7 with an enormous, accelerated cannonball, and Franky deployed the Anti-World Government Armor to shield the city. The shield began failing under the impact as World prepared to fire again.

• Iceburg and Franky oversaw construction of Water 7’s seastone coastal defenses while discussing the threat of the World Government.
• Water 7’s alarms warned that an unidentified high-energy object had breached the maritime defenses, and Byrnndi World’s warship appeared offshore.
• World used his More-More Fruit powers to enlarge and accelerate a cannonball toward Dock One’s central factory.
• Franky piloted the Anti-World Government Armor into the sky and raised an energy shield that caught the cannonball, but the impact strained the shield and reactor.
• World picked up another cannonball and prepared to attack again as Franky’s shield weakened.

Franky used the Anti-World Government Armor to stop Byrnndi World's hundredfold cannonballs from destroying Water 7, despite pushing the machine to its limits. Douglas Bullet then entered the fight and leaped toward the harbor, challenging the Eclipse's strength.

• Franky used the Sky Curtain to deflect World's first giant cannonball into the sea.
• World enlarged and kicked ten cannonballs toward Water 7, and the Sky Curtain shattered under their assault.
• Franky disengaged the armor's limiter and used its vibration sword to cut apart all ten cannonballs before they reached the city.
• Water 7's people cheered Franky as the exhausted armor landed on the harbor breakwater.
• Bullet restrained World, dismissed the armor as a toy, and leaped toward Water 7.
