"Tony, I've successfully rescued the President. I'm taking him out of here."
Suddenly, Iron Patriot's signal came through his earpiece, and Colonel Rhodey's voice rang in Tony's ear.
While Tony and the others were fighting, Rhodey had climbed across the containers to reach where the President was hanging.
But two Extremis Soldiers caught up with him.
His pistol magazine was emptied in an instant. Every shot hit, yet they did no damage.
It was as if the bullets had struck molten iron and melted away instantly.
The bullet holes in their bodies visibly healed.
"How the hell am I supposed to fight this??"
Colonel Rhodey, dressed in business casual attire, was instantly pushed into a desperate situation.
The container was not very large.
Below it was a drop of dozens of meters.
If he had been inside Iron Patriot, Rhodey would never have cared about such a minor height.
But now...
His legs were more than a little uncooperative.
Suddenly, a crystalline web shot in from high in the distance, stuck to the two Extremis Soldiers, and instantly flung them far out into the sea.
Then a nimble figure landed atop the container.
"Hey, Colonel, I'm not too late, am I..."

Rhodey looked at the energetic, extraordinarily capable young man before him and smiled.
Two rows of white teeth gleamed especially brightly beneath the night sky.
"Just in time, kid!"
And so, with Peter Parker's help, Colonel Rhodey retrieved his armor and took the President away from this place of trouble.
