Hammer's expo opened with great fanfare.
This was Justin Hammer's moment in the spotlight. He had complete confidence in his Iron Army.
He danced with flamboyant swagger while declaring that he would replace Iron Man.
With both hands pointing dramatically, vast numbers of Iron Armor units slowly rose onto the stage to majestic background music.
War Machine—the former Iron Man Mark 2 modified by him—also made its first appearance.
It was worth mentioning that after James Rhodes had fought Tony, he returned to the military intending to upgrade his armor's weapons himself, only to encounter Hammer.
Hammer boasted endlessly about his weapons systems, and the one Colonel Rhodes liked best was a miniature missile called "Ex-Wife."
Its power was said to be no less than that of any large missile.
That made Colonel Rhodes regard Ex-Wife as War Machine's trump card, cherishing it greatly.
Just as Hammer was basking in pride, Tony made a dazzling entrance in Mark 6 armor equipped with a new reactor.
His stylish landing drew cheers from the entire audience.
"We've got trouble."
Ignoring the roaring crowd, Tony warned Rhodes that this was all a conspiracy.
"Tony, there are civilians here. I'm here under orders. Whatever it is, we can talk later..."
Clearly, Rhodes had misunderstood Tony's intentions.
"For the next five minutes, you have to trust me. Everyone here is in danger."
Tony waved to the audience below while seriously warning Colonel Rhodes.
But Rhodes did not believe Tony at all.
"I trusted you once, and I got the hell beaten out of me in your house. Remember?"
It was not until Tony mentioned Hammer's collusion with Ivan that Rhodey, inside War Machine, began to waver slightly.
"Ivan's alive?"
Just as Tony stepped forward to demand Vanko's whereabouts, Rhodey cried out from inside War Machine.
