Gwen happened to be out on patrol. The moment she got word, she rushed over.
Li Wei looked up and saw a figure land against the glass, then sprint straight up the side of the building.
She used her webs to propel herself, shooting upward like an arrow.
With one leap, she reached the roof.
Gwen looked closely and spotted an agitated Vulture.
She had fought Vulture several times and knew how hard he was to deal with.
Vulture was shouting, "Shut up! I'm not your subordinate. You don't get to order me around!"
He seemed completely off guard.
Gwen launched a Jump Kick at him.
Bang!
Vulture reacted fast. He dodged—and loosened his grip.
"Aah!"
The sudden drop made Norman Osborn scream.
Fortunately, Vulture hadn't let go completely. He caught Norman and laughed. "Come any closer, and I'll drop him."
"And I'll make sure everyone knows who made me do it!"
He was threatening them both.
Norman Osborn knew Vulture was talking to Kingpin, but he kept quiet.
If he said Kingpin's name aloud, he would be even more doomed.
