At the Long Island villa, Tony Stark shot into the sky in his Iron Man Suit.
Li Wei was genuinely envious. "JARVIS, does your boss have a spare Iron Man Suit?"
"No, Mr. Li Wei."
JARVIS answered.
While asking, Li Wei had the Red Queen check too. There really were none.
Even Tony Stark couldn't build and upgrade two Iron Man Suits in such a short time.
"Useless Tony."
Li Wei shook his head.
He'd wanted to try an Iron Man Suit!
With no other choice, he went out and drove.
For Obadiah Stane, there was no turning back once he started.
He had to deal with Li Wei, Pepper Potts, and the others as quickly as possible.
Only then would he have room to maneuver afterward.
No one would speak up for the dead!
So he headed straight for a Stark Industries factory.
This time, S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't interfere, and everything went smoothly.
Pepper hadn't found evidence against Obadiah Stane yet, nor had she gotten too close to S.H.I.E.L.D.
It had all happened too fast.
Obadiah Stane placed the miniature nuclear reactor inside the Iron Monger, opened the armor, and climbed in.
If Tony Stark had pursued a light, sleek, agile design, the Iron Monger was the exact opposite.
Obadiah feared death and had added several layers of armor to the Iron Monger.
His approach was blunt: spend, spend, spend!
As a result, the Iron Monger was hardly lacking in technology.
He also feared Li Wei might have deliberately left traps, so he replaced many components and kept the operating system offline.
He wasn't about to give an AI a chance to control him!
Obadiah Stane was no fool to have taken all those precautions.
Unfortunately for him, Li Wei and Tony Stark had both plotted against him.
He
