The sun blazed in a tranquil sky as Tamo and four other Archmages flew straight from Osum Headquarters toward the southwest region.

"According to the Spellcasters who reported in along the way, the Three-Headed Demon Dragon kept flying southwest. We must be close by now, right?"

Tamo looked around, sounding uncertain.

"We're almost there. A target as big as the Three-Headed Demon Dragon can't be missed! We'll find Merlin this time, and I'll kill him myself!"

Lina spoke through gritted teeth. Merlin had destroyed the Abbes Stronghold and cost him the Abbes War God, sending his standing at Osum Headquarters plummeting. He might even drop in the next elder rankings. Naturally, Lina hated Merlin to the bone.

Buzz.

All five Archmages suddenly looked up. Dark clouds had gathered across the sky—or so it seemed. A closer look revealed that they were dark elements.

"Dark magic? An ordinary dark mage couldn't create a disturbance like this. We don't have many dark mages in Osum. Could it be those remnants from the Spellcaster World?"

"Possibly. We only recently received a report that some remnants of the Abyssal Fortress had been spotted in the southwest region."

At the mention of the Abyssal Fortress, every Archmage's eyes lit up. Rumors about its method for cultivating the Dark Eye had grown almost mythical.

"Haha! If they really are remnants of the Abyssal Fortress, our luck is incredible. Come on, let's take a look!"

Tamo laughed, located the source of the dark-element fluctuations, and flew toward it.

A shadow formed over Yuras's head. The dark elements were so dense and dreadful they seemed capable of affecting a person's emotions. But they posed little threat to Osum's Fifth- and Sixth-level Spellcasters.
