"Blackstar Armor!"
Both Santo and Flameglow turned their gazes toward the Blackstar Armor. Merlin had already wiped away the dust covering it. Now restored to its original appearance, the Blackstar Armor glimmered with a faint, eerie sheen and looked anything but ordinary.
"Merlin, how did you control this Blackstar Armor?"
Santo had personally tried to pick up the Blackstar Armor earlier. It had indeed been incomparably heavy, impossible to lift at all. Yet Merlin had not only picked it up, but even placed it inside his spatial ring.
Merlin smiled. "I merely happened upon a lucky coincidence and could only barely store the Blackstar Armor in my ring."
Merlin was also very cautious. Although he trusted Santo greatly, the Matrix was his greatest secret, and he could not reveal it lightly to anyone.
Only Merlin himself could know this secret!
Santo seemed to realize that Merlin had left something unsaid. But Merlin was now a Glory Monarch, one of the upper ranks of the Spellcaster Civilization. Having a few secrets was nothing unusual. Did the three Arcane Mages not have secrets of their own?
Thus, Santo did not press the matter further. Instead, he asked expectantly, "Merlin, can you wear this Blackstar Armor?"
Santo had heard Flameglow's introduction earlier. If one wore Blackstar Armor and became a Black Star Warrior, one could rival a Supreme Existence. If Merlin could truly wear it, the Spellcaster Civilization's chances of victory would become even greater.
Merlin was tempted as well, but the information in the Matrix showed that wearing the Blackstar Armor required a Life Brain. Although the Matrix could now control the Blackstar Armor, he did not know whether it would succeed.
"Give it a try, Mage Merlin!"
Santo said encouragingly.
Merlin drew a deep breath. He decided to try as well.
