Bang.
With that muffled sound, Santo the Arcane Mage's Law Incarnation vanished. Everyone was stunned, unable to understand what had happened.
"Mage Merlin, what happened?"
Kronos asked in a deep voice.
"Heh heh, what else could it be? That body was his incarnation. An incarnation would not perish for no reason. If it did perish, there was only one possibility—his true body had died!"
Rom seemed to know something and spoke calmly.
"His true body died? How is that possible? Mage Santo was a Supreme Existence. Who could kill a Supreme Existence? Could the other pantheons of the Divine Alliance have intervened?"
Merlin could only think of one possibility: other deities from the Divine Alliance had intervened in the war and, together with the Rock Clan ancestors, used a scheme to surround and kill Mage Santo.
Perhaps two or three Supreme Existences could not surround and kill one Supreme Existence, but if there were four, five, or even more, then killing a Supreme Existence was not impossible.
By the look of things, Mage Santo was likely doomed!
"How could this be... I must return to the Spellcaster Civilization immediately!"
Merlin immediately made up his mind. He turned his gaze toward Kronos. At a time like this, the Spellcaster Civilization must have undergone a drastic change, and clearly not a good one. Thus, Kronos's attitude was extremely important.
Countless thoughts flashed through Kronos's mind, but he still said in a deep voice, "The Supreme Existences of the Wing Clan and Tree Clan have yet to arrive. I must remain here until they come, so I can persuade them to enter the Spellcaster Civilization together. Rom, do you dare go to the Spellcaster Civilization with Mage Merlin first and stabilize the situation?"
Everyone's gaze turned to Rom again.
There was indeed sincerity
