Ian calmly watched Loki leave, sinking into thought. As far as he knew, after the second season of Loki, Loki had transformed from the God of Mischief into the God of Stories, gaining the ability to twist an infinite Multiverse into something resembling the World Tree. Such a feat or level of power was at least Perfect Tier 11, and might even be Tier 12.

Loki's variant was still independent, which meant Loki had skipped Tier 11, Ian thought. His current strength isn't important. I'm more concerned with his plans and purpose. If everything went smoothly, Loki should liberate the Multiverse while the Time Variance Authority dealt with Kang's variants to prevent another Multiversal War.

But things had become more complicated. All the timelines were merging, which meant Loki's World Tree would revert to a single [Sacred Timeline], after which it would compete with the [Sacred Timeline] of Marvel Comics, leaving behind a single timeline that had survived a brutal process of elimination.

It seems this is how the Marvel and DC Universes are preparing for the upcoming war, Ian thought. The God of Stories, Loki, should know this. So what is his plan? I absolutely don't believe he failed to notice my existence, yet he hasn't done anything.

There were many possible answers to this question. The God of Stories, Loki, might not care, because his strength guaranteed that he could survive the [Fusion].

Many signs indicate that his new position is a prison, because he can't leave the core of the World Tree or interfere too much with other timelines. Perhaps this Fusion is a way for him to escape, Ian analyzed.
