Tony stared at the perfect rendering of his Iron Man armor, rendered speechless. He couldn't understand how the government had obtained his technology.

Was there a mole beside him? Yet only Jarvis could access that technology. Even if they had salvaged something from Obadiah's armor, they shouldn't have been able to produce something this quickly or in such detail.

"From a robotics perspective alone, there's nothing special about this armor," Ian said before Tony could recover from his shock and speak. Yet those words hit him all over again.

"However, the Ark reactor is worth examining," Ian continued. He destroyed the armor schematics, leaving only the information about the reactor.

"A miniature nuclear fusion reactor built in a cave under duress. That truly deserves praise."

"How did you get that?" Tony asked, struggling to control his anger. Someone had essentially stolen his invention, and worst of all, that someone was the United States government.

"You can assume we reverse-engineered your armor," Ian said calmly. "But that's not why I came here, and it isn't important."

"I think it's very important." Tony couldn't imagine how terrifying the world would become if the United States government could manufacture his armor—it would be a true disaster.

"I came here for three main reasons," Ian continued.

"First, to speed things up. We don't have much time left, and some matters can't be delayed any longer. Second—"

"Are you deaf?" Tony grabbed him by the collar.

"Tony, stop." Pepper hurried over and pulled him away.

"The palladium you're using for the reactor is poisonous. It's slowly killing you," Ian finished.
