Sudden Trouble

"What happened?" Ian asked.

"Someone just forcibly broke through the protective barrier we set up around the timeline," Ra reported.

"Who? Tony again?" Ian asked, making no attempt to hide the anger in his eyes.

"No, not him—it was the Celestials."

"Arishem?"

"Not just him, but a whole group," Ra said, making Ian snort.

"What are they doing? Why do they have to enter other timelines?"

"I'm not sure."

Ian sighed. "We need to upgrade our security. That way, no one will be able to leave or enter our timeline without permission."

"This was indeed our oversight—it won't happen again," Ra promised.

"I'll trust you one more time. I'm going to check on Arishem's situation."

"I'm afraid so."

"I don't like that roundabout tone of yours," Ian said. He felt that he was about to hear some bad news.

"We detected the parallel dimension the Celestials went to. The data shows that it's a Tier 3 timeline."

Ian's expression turned fierce. A Tier 3 timeline meant there was at least one Demon God King.

"Did you detect the exact number of Kings?"

"The energy signatures currently show only two, but we can't fully determine the exact number or how powerful they are."
