The Empire's Exploration Era: Jean-Claude's First Surrender

"We can call it the Arcane Body," Claude said with a smile. Everyone knew the Emperor liked to tack the word "Arcane" onto everything, so adding it to as many inventions as possible had become a running joke. That was why a law had even been passed granting artificial intelligences the right to reject such names when they were inappropriate.

"All right, let's bring this war to an end as quickly as possible," Claude announced. He had been prepared for a long war, but after discovering such a major weakness in this species, conquering them had become incredibly easy.

The Three Great Imperial Councils:

Many people sat in the spacious room, with three seats at the front. Most of those present appeared as holograms, while the three main seats had been designed to be enormous. Even the figures seated in them were magnified, making them look like giants.

Everyone sat in silence, watching footage of Lieutenant General Glandax fighting the invaders. Everything had been normal a moment ago, but then the invaders began using immensely powerful spells, destroying their legions.

"Can someone tell me what just happened?" asked Emperor Karak, ruler of the Saxix Empire. Nearly three meters tall and powerfully built, his strength and physique gave him a naturally imposing presence.

"We lost, and we lost badly," replied a stunning woman with black hair and blue skin, dressed in black mage robes. She was Empress Selasi, ruler of the Vanisha Empire, also known as the Mage Empire.

"He means, how did we lose?" said President Verek of the Korak Empire, which differed from the others in that it was an elective monarchy. He dressed like a nobleman, and even his bearing and gestures gave off an air of nobility.

"I don't need you to explain what I mean," Emperor
