Lands Between

Ian let out a breath. This world could practically be called a Cthulhu-esque hell. Everything had begun when the Greater Will split Taiyi apart. Taiyi represented the state of existence before the Big Bang.

Taiyi was the fusion of all things: space, time, matter, souls, stars, life, cause and effect, death, and everything in between. This feat alone was enough to place the Greater Will at Tier 10 at the very least, and perhaps even Tier 11, because this world truly contained countless possibilities, thereby forming a Multiverse.

This act created life, as well as the planet that would later become the center of this world—the Lands Between. The Greater Will's second major undertaking was sending a meteor carrying his daughter, the Mother of Fingers. She would serve as some kind of pope or representative for him in the mortal world. His third major undertaking was sending the Elden Beast, which arrived aboard a meteor and brought the Golden Order designed by the Greater Will to the world.

Aside from the Greater Will, which could be regarded as the supreme god, this world also contained Cthulhu-like monsters known as the Outer Gods, possessing unimaginable power. Ever since the birth of the Lands Between, they had been exerting influence and interference. Any one of them could kill Ian instantly with a glance in his current state.

Ian took a deep breath. The situation isn't too bad yet. Clearly, the Greater Will and the Outer Gods are trapped in the Lightless Void and cannot interfere directly.

That's only what you think, Morgana retorted. If you want to complete the perfect mission, you have to eliminate all their influence in this world. Who knows whether they might suddenly attack you in a fit of rage?
