Let's start with a rough summary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe arc. The next arc was originally supposed to be Ultron. After his battle with Thor, Tony realized the power he, the Avengers, and Ian possessed, and decided to create contingency plans in case they went too far—thus, he created Ultron. Ian failed to stop him in time, and that busy clone failed as well. By the time he returned to the Marvel Universe, Ultron had been born.

Ian arrived because his Cosmic Perception warned him of danger, but he was already too late. He was furious and nearly killed Tony on the spot. Ultron, now possessing the technological and magical knowledge Ian had taught Tony, was a worthy opponent.

He allied himself with Mephisto, which made things even more troublesome. I had not planned everything out yet, but Ian would ultimately be able to destroy Ultron only because of the Dark Kamar-Taj Kaecilius established as a double agent. I had originally planned for Ian to refine Mephisto's soul after defeating him, turning him into a puppet to help rule Hell.

The Ultron arc would be followed by an arc about reclaiming the Floating City. In my outline, I planned for the city to be taken by The Collector. However, this would not be an ordinary Collector, but a pseudo-Tier 11 Collector who had collected his own unique variants and absorbed them. With the Dwarves' help, Ian would forge a prototype of the Chains of Heaven. The Collector would be his first test before using the weapon on Cosmos.

The MCU's final arc was supposed to be "The Great Convergence." Countless universes would merge together, and Ian and his team would defeat variants from those timelines. Every time they survived a universe, their citizens would grow stronger, while other heroes
