"Bermuda Triangle?" Ian frowned slightly. The sea area located at North Atlantic was famous for strange disappearances. He had studied there in another world and indeed noticed strange space fluctuations, but he had never been able to find the real cause.
"Where are the other ruins?" Ian asked.
Rowena replied, "Brain Chamber was found in Africa, Hall of Prophecy was found in New Zealand, Hall of Love was found in Americas, and Death Chamber -- in Greece."
"Greece?" Ian's expression changed, and his tone suddenly increased, "Did you encounter anything strange there?"
Rowena glanced at him in surprise. "How do you know?"
"Guess," Ian replied calmly.
Rowena was silent for a moment and said softly, "That Hall of Death was originally controlled by a Greece wizard. That man was extremely powerful and crazy. He claimed that he would transform into a god, control death itself, and achieve true immortality."
Ian's brows furrowed deeper and deeper. "What happened next?"
"I was defeated by him." Rowena said calmly, "He didn't kill me, but he seemed to want someone to witness his 'God Becoming Ceremony'. He used Hall of Death as the core to build a huge ceremony. I took the opportunity to secretly change part of the structure - but in the end, he failed and died in front of me."
Ian was silent for a long time and said softly, "I should have thought earlier that it was him - Greece, the first black wizard in history, the man who created Basilisk and Horcrux - Herpo (this person really exists)."
Rowena frowned slightly. "Do you know him?"
"In my timeline, he is called 'Herpo the Foul', the inventor of Horcrux. If I am not wrong, in my world, he may have really succeeded." Ian's eyes became deep, "The question is - how did he do it?"
Rowena recalled, "He once said that gods did exist in this universe, but those gods were forced to return to Root Laws of the universe. He may be trying to restore their power."
Ian walked slowly, with his hands behind his back, and analyzed in a low voice. "If he needs Hall of Death, then this relic is likely to be related to the relics of these 'gods'. Perhaps each hall corresponds to a god who controls the laws - time, space, life, death... and wisdom."
His eyes lit up and he continued to deduce, "Brain Chamber represents wisdom and thinking; Hall of Love may not mean 'love' in the literal sense, but 'protection' and 'life'; and these four - time, space, life, and death - are the basic pillars of the creation of the universe."
"This explains why the sacrifice of Lily·Potter can resist Avada Kedavra - it is a kind of Law Resonance of life and protection."
He raised his head and his expression became calm. "If Herpo really wants to become a god, he must want to be with 'Law of Death' Fusion. Unfortunately, even if he succeeds, he will be trapped in Afterlife and unable to enjoy that power. Now that he wants to return to the world, he must restart Leyline Nodes."
Rowena listened attentively, and then said after a while, "Then... what are you going to do?"
Ian turned his eyes to her. "One day in the future, I will scatter all the relics related to death - including Deathly Hallows. No one will be allowed to collect them."
He paused briefly and his expression gradually softened. "Do you remember the magic structure of the mad wizard when he cast the spell?"
"Remember." Rowena raised his hand and pulled out a silver-white memory thread from his temple.
A picture emerged in the air - a haggard old man with a long beard reaching the ground, holding a snake-shaped scepter, standing in the center of a ritual formation composed of countless runes and bloody lines.
At the center of the formation is the stone door of Hall of Death. The walls around the door are engraved with strange ancient texts and Dragon Language symbols. The most eye-catching thing is the small pile of crystal-like material - soul.
Ian narrowed his eyes and murmured, "Ancient Greek Incantations, rune system, Dragon Language, and Demonic Language... Herpo's mastery of language magic is far beyond imagination. Perhaps he also created a special language on his own to interfere with the laws."
He analyzed it quietly for a long time and suddenly smiled, "Is this the so-called 'Language of the Gods'? It's a pity that he failed to truly understand the nature of the soul and death."
An hour later, Rowena took back his memory and looked at him steadily.
"Now it's your turn," she said calmly, "You promised that you would let me see your knowledge."
Ian smiled, took out a silver disc engraved with runes from his arms and handed it to her. "This is the academic certificate I made for my allies. It allows you to enter my knowledge base and check my published research results."
Rowena took the disc and touched it gently, and the operation method immediately appeared in his mind.
"'Temporary level four authority'?" she asked with raised eyebrows.
"Don't be too greedy." Ian smiled and shook his head, "I only have the fifth-level authority, and the fourth-level authority is only for my family."
"That means..." She said with a faint smile, "If I become a member of your family, I can have real level four authority, or even... level five?"
Ian was stunned by her gaze and coughed dryly. "Ahem, I have always been a free person and don't like to be restrained."
Rowena smiled, "It doesn't matter, you can be free - as long as I can be the most important person to you."
Ian raised his hand and rubbed his eyebrows, and said with a helpless smile, "... Let's change the topic. Where did your illness come from? Let me take a look, maybe I can find a solution."
Rowena was silent for a moment, looked at him deeply, and then whispered, "The source of my disease is the same as where Chamber of Time and Space was found."
Ian was startled. "You mean--Bermuda Triangle?"
Rowena nodded slowly.
