The truth about War of the Gods and Akashic Records
Solomon pondered for a moment and didn't seem to mind answering these questions. With his power when he was alive, he could have achieved greater achievements - he could have eternal life and even travel between the past and the future.
However, he did not do that, but chose to spend his life like a mortal.
This is his own choice.
Therefore, it was not a big deal for him to tell the secrets of the past to future generations. After sorting out his thoughts, he slowly spoke:
"The answers to all your questions actually point to the same source. In my time, a war broke out between Jehovah and other pantheons around the world. Although modern people believe that he is the only and supreme god, at that time, he was only the leader of one of the pantheons."
Ian is not surprised that Solomon understands the development of modern Christianity. After all, the space-time power he is using now originated from Solomon.
It is completely normal for this sage to be able to peer into the future and know something.
"I know very little about the details of that war, because it mainly took place in the Heaven Realm. But I know that due to the intervention of some external forces, the situation became extremely complicated at a certain node."
"As the king under Jehovah, my mission is to spread his name and faith in the mortal world to enhance his power. However, as the war intensified, many gods fell and the rest fell into sleep."
"This War of the Gods directly led to the fragmentation and reorganization of the rules of heaven and earth. This is also the fundamental reason why magic gradually declined in this world until it almost disappeared."
Ian listened with rapt attention. This explains why in this world with a divine background, there is almost no trace of magic in modern society.
"As for me," Solomon continued, a hint of pride flashed in his eyes, "In an era when magic is beginning to decline, the reason why I can have such a powerful power is because I found another way."
"I made a contract with Seventy-Two Pillars of Demons and borrowed their power. But I did not become their slave. Instead, I enslaved them with my absolute wisdom and will and let them be used by me."
Ian nodded, which is consistent with the legend. Solomon is known for his wisdom. He can control Demons without being backlashed, which is a proof of his strength.
"You are very smart, young man," Solomon suddenly changed the topic and looked at Ian with a deep look, "Being too smart is sometimes not a good thing."
"You not only learned my Spacetime Magic, but you also tried to explore the ultimate secret of this world through me. You knew from the beginning that the book was just a medium, and your real purpose was to find me through it."
Ian bowed slightly but did not deny. "In this universe full of unknowns, caution is the first rule of survival. It is my honor to get your guidance."
Solomon smiled without any intention of blaming him. He raised his hand, and a soft ball of light condensed in his palm.
"Since you are so eager for knowledge, I will give this to you. Although it will not help me improve my power, it may be of some use to you."
The light ball slowly floated towards Ian, passed through the time and space channel, and suspended in front of him.
Ian hesitated for a moment, and after confirming that there was no danger, reached out to catch it.
In an instant, countless memories poured into his mind.
These memories turned out to be the contents of various movies, comics, animations and pop culture that appeared on the earth after his death in 2019.
In these memories, he even saw the movie <Jungle Cruise> in which Frank and Lilith appeared.
"This is..." Ian looked at Solomon in shock.
"This is not a precious power, but it can save you a lot of 'expenses'," Solomon explained. Seeing the confused expression on Ian's face, he continued:
"If you successfully come into contact with Akashic Records in the future, you can easily obtain these memories. However, everything there comes at a price. You must pay the corresponding price in exchange for knowledge."
"You are a 'stranger,' and this information from your hometown in the future may be some kind of comfort and an advantage for you."
Ian nodded, feeling a storm in his heart. Solomon actually knew that he was trying to contact Akashic Records, and even saw through his identity as a time traveler.
These top bosses are truly unfathomable.
If Merlin had not been in the background, Ian might have escaped through the space-time channel the moment Solomon appeared.
"Thank you for your gift," Ian said sincerely.
After a few simple greetings, Ian took the initiative to cut off the connection between time and space. Faced with such a wise man who can see through everything, too many words will lead to mistakes.
Just after Ian ended the conversation with Solomon, at that distant time and space node, the space in front of Solomon suddenly became distorted.
An old man in a robe appeared out of thin air.
"You think very highly of him," the old man said, looking at the place where Ian disappeared.
"An interesting young man," Solomon replied calmly, "He has a special quality. Moreover, like you, he is a person chosen by fate."
"In other words, someone who is trying to break fate."
The old man stroked his beard, a complicated light flashed in his eyes.
"Hopefully he can go further than me."
"Did you give that to him?"
"Give it. It's what he deserves, and it's also an investment. After all, no one can predict the future."
Solomon turned to look at the old man and said meaningfully, "It's you, Merlin. Your layout in this universe seems to have reached a critical moment."
(Note: The Merlin here is not the Merlin in the world of Harry Potter, but the legendary mage in this movie universe.)
