Ian was not surprised by the news. After learning that Scholar Race was part of Akashic Records, making it impossible to obtain their information, he also speculated that the same was true for Wizard Race. His theory was that they had been exposed to Akashic Records before leaving Astral Realm.
Ian even further speculated that Akashic Records was one of the main reasons why Wizard Race was able to Transcendence their universe. This knowledge-seeking race probably learned of the existence of Void from records; then, they made it their mission to break through the limitations of the universe and reach the Twelfth Tier th position.
Ian picked up the token and observed it.
'This is a local access token.' He felt a little regretful because it only allowed individuals to exchange knowledge within the Astral Realm, but not the entire Omniverse.
'Something is better than nothing.'
He put away the token and exited the Cosmic Cube body. Ian's next destination is the Time-Space Aurors headquarters to check the situation of Charles. Two weeks have passed, and the researchers should have a basic analysis of the situation of Charles.
He quickly teleported to his destination, where a woman Arcanist wearing a white magic robe was waiting for his arrival.
"Did you find anything?" Ian asked.
Marisol was slightly surprised. Usually when His Majesty the Emperor comes over, he will chat with her first, or even joke a little bit, and then start talking about business.
But today, he seemed absent-minded, even a little cold. But she didn't ask any more questions, after all, their relationship wasn't that close yet, and he was still her boss.
"Based on the previous data, we found an anomaly in all Time Lord's Soul Flame," Marisol said, while using a holographic projection to show him the data.
"There is a trace of gray matter in Time Lord and Soul Flame. This should be the source of their mutation and the ability to forcibly distort reality after changing time. However, we have not yet analyzed what this gray matter is."
Ian nodded while flipping through the data. "What about Charles? Even among Time Lord, he should be special, right?"
"Yes. This gray substance formed a ring around his Soul Flame," Marisol explained. "Currently, our inference is that it was precisely because of this ring that he was not marked as a criminal after breaking the so-called 'Law of Time'."
Ian said nothing and continued to slide the floating screen. After a few minutes, he stopped, closed his eyes, and entered the fourth level of his own Soul Dimension.
He carefully observed his Soul Flame, but found nothing. Ian mobilized his [Law of Time] without hesitation, producing special fluctuations and frequencies on this layer.
'Found it,' he thought to himself, and soon found a deeply hidden mark or aura in his Soul Flame.
'Is this how Time Guardians discovered my actions and defined me as a criminal?'
Ian wasted no time and began to analyze the strange aura in his Soul Flame. He tried to remove it, but in vain; he tried to isolate and seal it, hoping to buy himself some time. Unfortunately, his current understanding of Soul Flame is still very limited.
Finally, he opened his eyes and sighed:
"Tell me honestly, how long do you think it will take us to replicate this ring, or even just that gray matter?"
His current idea is that perhaps he can solve the current dilemma by copying the gray ring on Charles Soul Flame. Even if not, this ring may suppress the tracking mark and buy him more time.
Marisol paused, "I'm afraid it won't be completed within the stipulated time."
Fifty years is a long time, but not enough for this level of research.
"We have just discovered Soul Flame and know very little about it or layer 4, not to mention the technology involved which requires combining Soul Magic and Time Magic.
"Fifty years is simply not enough - not even with Time Acceleration."
Ian sighed softly. Unlike others, he could stay in the Time Acceleration barrier for thousands of years without any harm. Unfortunately, he could not expect these Arcanist to master Law of Time and have the same abilities as him.
"Do your best and let me know if you need anything," Ian said to Marisol and left. The war had just ended, and he should have been busy dealing with the Empire's government affairs; however, due to the imminent threat from Time Custodians, he neglected most of the affairs.
However, since he now had to wait for news from Hermione, he decided to show his face in front of the people. After all, one of the reasons why he fought against Time Custodians so desperately was to protect his Empire and the people.
So, in the next few days, Ian appeared in front of the public and the media. He attended several public lectures and events, and delivered a speech to the country about post-war recovery efforts. He also took time to spend with his family.
After dealing with these, he came up with a new idea - contact Goddess of Magic Delilah. If there is anyone he knows who is most likely to understand [Myriad Laws Codex Plane], it must be her.
However, after careful consideration and analysis of all the circumstances, he gave up the idea. Delilah was involved in his future plans to fight against the gods, and it would not be wise to contact her prematurely.
He never underestimates his opponents. Therefore, after realizing that Delilah was likely to infer a lot of important information from his asking [Myriad Laws Codex Plane], he chose not to meet her.
What happened to Luck was that one month later, while studying the inheritance of Wizard Race, Hermione contacted him and sent him the coordinates of the plane and some basic information.
Ian used his willpower to resist the urge to rush to that plane immediately. Instead, he waited for more than half a year until the second Floating City reached the Tenth Tier position.
Then, he boarded the Floating City named [Ravenclaw] and headed towards the destination with high hopes.
