Ian walked into the room where Team Flash was waiting, including Kid Flash, who had just regained his ability not long ago, namely Wally West. He smiled and asked politely:

"I assume you have made your decision?"

Everyone was silent for a while before Barry spoke, "As our supervisor, what exactly do you plan to do?"

"First of all, we need to collect various data about your abilities: strengths and weaknesses, upper and lower limits - we need to fully understand the scope of your abilities and your limits."

"What's the use of collecting these?" Barry asked.

"Isn't this obvious?" Iris interjected. "In order to be able to deal with you in the future."

"I said, you always think of the worst," Ian explained calmly. "We are just making contingency plans, just in case. By then, we will be able to subdue the relevant personnel without causing large-scale chaos."

"You sure talk; you should be writing novels like me," Harrison Wells sneered. The variant from Earth-19 was a writer rather than a scientist, so Ian downgraded his threat assessment. Nonetheless, he remained under close surveillance by Ian.

"What exactly do you mean by 'just in case'?" Caitlin asked.

"The worst-case scenario is that Barry turns black and uses his abilities to do evil."

"Barry would never do that," Sisko immediately defended.

"He saved countless lives - he was a true hero," Iris added.

"I'm not attacking his character," Ian continued. "We're just preparing for various possibilities."

"But that's not what you just said," Joe retorted. "How many times has Barry risked his life to save this city? How many times has he saved the world? Where was the government? And now, here you are, baselessly accusing him of going bad."

"Calm down," Ian said calmly but with unquestionable majesty. He looked around at everyone and said, "You all seem to have selectively forgotten the 'Flashpoint' incident." The room fell silent instantly.

"In a moment of grief, he made a selfish decision to travel back in time to save his mother; an act of his that completely changed reality as we know it."

"I have learned from my mistakes," Barry defended. "I know the serious consequences of disturbing the timeline, and I will never do it again."

"Really?" Ian said, looking him straight in the eyes. "If you watch everyone in this room die - look me in the eyes and tell me you won't be tempted to make the same choice."

"I would never let anyone hurt them."

"You didn't answer my question," Ian shot back unceremoniously, and Barry avoided his gaze.

"Do any of you know how big of a repercussions 'Flashpoint' has caused? Do you think his actions only affected Central City or the people around him? No, lives all over the world have been affected. Government agencies around the world have set up special teams to deal with the aftermath of 'Flashpoint' and record unusual situations that are different from the previous timeline."

"How is this possible?"

"Do you think you are the only one in the world who can detect the change in the timeline? The world is very big, and Central City is just a drop in the ocean."

The room fell into silence, and the tense atmosphere that had been tense before quickly dissipated like a popped balloon.

"Moreover, Barry abusing his abilities for selfish reasons, or going dark, is not the only situation we need to guard against. The existence of Grodd proves that his mind can be controlled. If there is a Superman class with similar abilities, and we are forced to face the controlled Flash, the government hopes to be prepared."

"I still don't think it's a good idea to let anyone get hold of this data," Wells added. "Especially the United States government or military."

"Maybe you are right, but the matter has reached this point and there is no room for negotiation," Ian said, taking out his mobile phone from his pocket. "My team is outside, and they will come in and start testing."

After making the call, nearly a hundred people walked into the laboratory and began to arrange equipment.

"Wait, we also have to take a test?" Sisko asked, looking at the man in front of him warily.

"You are also the Superman type, aren't you? So, you are also on the list of people being monitored," Ian answered while answering the phone. More than an hour later, everything was ready, and they started testing with Barry and Wally. The two put on a set of specially-made equipment to monitor their heart rate and other body functions.

Then, they used a special Cosmic Treadmill that allowed them to use their full speed. Ian watched Barry calmly. When a portal appeared a few meters in front of Barry's treadmill, his eyes lit up secretly.

'The entrance to Speed Force,' he thought to himself, but showed no expression on his face. The next tests focused on their other abilities, such as walking through walls or releasing lightning. The last test was to collect data as Barry ran into Speed Force.

However, Ian did not stay there, but pretended to supervise others. He watched Sisko demonstrate its vibration ability, and he reluctantly turned on Dimensional Teleportation. Caitlin demonstrated her ability to control ice and snow, and Ralph demonstrated his ability to stretch and stretch his body. The whole process lasted for more than 6 hours before it was over.

"See? It's not that bad," Ian said, and everyone turned Byakugan at him. "I'll come back in three days to do the Second Tier test."

The team members watched Ian leave. As soon as he left, someone spoke:

"This experience is terrible," Wally complained.

"I think I'm starting to hate bureaucracy," Caitlin echoed.

"Something's wrong," Barry said.

"What's wrong?" Iris held his arm, not hiding her worry.

"I have a bad feeling about this agent," he continued. "Sisko, check our system to see if there are any problems. I'm going to check the whole building to see if there are any bugs."

Whoosh!

Along with the sparks of lightning, Barry shuttled and searched every corner of the building at an unparalleled speed.

"Did you find anything?" Joe asked.

"No, nothing was found. Sisko, where are you?"

"I found something, but--"

"But what?"

"It seems like they have no intention of hiding their intention to spy on us," he replied; it was so easy to find the hidden codes in their systems that he didn't believe these people could be so incompetent.

"Let's go to a safe place to talk," Barry said, and Sisko immediately opened a portal to Earth-19.

"What are they doing?" Ian asked, staring at the screen in front of him.

"As expected, they don't trust us," Morgana replied.

"Of course," he responded casually. Today, he had collected a lot of data about the connection between Barry and Speed Force, as well as data about Speed Force itself. Now, he was confident that he could create a clone fast enough to enter Speed Force.

"We're in trouble," Morgana said suddenly.

"What's the matter?" He finally looked away from the screen.

"After Barry entered Speed Force, the Tracking Spell we put on him disappeared."

Ian frowned, "Tell me what exactly happened?"

"I was still receiving data, but it was quickly erased by something."

Ian snorted, "Where are the others?"

"We're still monitoring them."

"Did Wally also enter Speed Force?"

"No, he's just waiting."

"Keep an eye on him and report to me any situation at any time."

Time was running out, so he took action immediately. He created a new clone and sent it to Speed Force to assist him in collecting data. However, just a few seconds later, an accident happened and the clone died.

He did not hesitate to call up the scene recorded in the clone's soul before his death.
