In the next few days, Qiao and Barry will be suspended by the police department for investigation. Qiao is under investigation for an old case, while Barry is suspected of destroying physical evidence.
Iris will be transferred from the writing position for some reason and transferred to other jobs. All your credit cards and bank accounts will either be frozen or have limit limits.
"The focus of the news media will be on this new speedster who is keen on robberies and other criminal activities," Ian said in a calm tone, completely ignoring the fearful and confused looks of the team members. He clapped his hands, and a bolt of lightning rushed into the room, revealing the new speedster who had been giving Barry a headache and was difficult to capture.
Immediately afterwards, a scene that made the team members feel horrified happened - the speedster took off his mask, revealing a face exactly like Barry. If the real Barry was not lying on the floor, they would really think that it was him. Ian looked directly into his eyes:
"If you cooperate with my research, I guarantee that you will never see me again after it is completed. You can all go back to your previous life as if nothing happened. But, what if you dare to play any tricks?"
Ian paused, "There will be a story circulating in the media: you were dissatisfied after being fired and started drinking and gambling. Then, one night in the hospital, you gained superpowers. In order to make ends meet and pay off debts, you started using your abilities to commit crimes. This story sounds credible, doesn't it?" Ian asked with a creepy smile. "You should thank me for helping you preserve Flash's reputation as a hero."
He glanced at Iris, "I know what you're thinking. It's been a while since Dark Flash appeared, so it's easy to prove Barry's innocence. Unfortunately, you will soon find out that all records of his dismissal were in the days before Dark Flash appeared. Everyone involved will have clear memories of that day and can testify that Barry was indeed fired on that specific day."
After saying this, Ian walked out of the room calmly. What made the team sad was that things turned out as he said. First it was Joe, then Barry, and then Iris.
"I went to look up Central City General Hospital," Iris said, her eyes red with bloodshot eyes from exhaustion and worry. "There was a record of Barry being hospitalized for alcohol poisoning. Apparently, one of the interns made a mistake and injected him with an experimental drug."
"So, this is how his superpowers are explained?"
"Yes," Iris sighed. "It's really scary. I asked nurses, doctors, receptionists, and even hospital administrators. All of them had memories of talking to Barry or treating him. Even though it wasn't him at all. A lot of people knew about it because the hospital was trying to avoid lawsuits." The room was quiet for a moment, and Sisko spoke up, "It's the same situation over there at the casino. The written record of Barry's debt is conclusive, how much do you think he owes?"
"$5,000," Joe replied. "It's exactly the same amount that Dark Speedsters took away in his first crime."
"All hits," Sisko said frustratedly. "How is the situation over there?"
"I tried talking to the chief, but it didn't work," Joe replied.
"Then what should we do now?" Ralph (Ralph) asked; he didn't know whether he should be grateful or sad that he was ignored by Ian. Happy? Because his life was not affected. Frustrated? Because he felt that the other party did not pay attention to him at all, and completely treated him as if he did not exist.
"Yeah, what should you do?"
Everyone turned their heads following the sound, their faces immediately filled with Wrath and hatred.
"What do you want?" Barry asked.
"I have never concealed my purpose," Ian replied. "You help me complete the experiment, and everything will return to its original state."
"How can I help you with that damn bracelet?"
"You just need to be willing to cooperate."
Barry looked around at his teammates and sighed, "I am willing to cooperate."
"That's right." Ian did not hesitate to connect him and Wally to countless instruments and began to collect data.
'There's still something missing.'
'You're right. Even if we only create a Speed Force of Tenth Tier, we are still missing the core key point,' Morgana echoed through the spiritual connection.
'Let's do a test inside Speed Force.'
'Are you sure? This might cause problems.'
'As long as his family's financial situation and social life are in my hands, he should know what to do and what not to do.'
Ian began his testing and, as expected, complications arose. The bracelet and all other tracking marks he had secretly left on Barry's body became ineffective.
'What should we do?' Morgana asked.
'Since that existence is so fond of its speedsters, then we will threaten it with the life of one of them.'
'What are you going to do?'
'I will place a powerful curse on Barry and bind it to Wally. If that consciousness attempts to remove our mark or curse, the curse will trigger and kill Kid Flash.'
'This trick may work. However, for the curse to be effective on an entity at the Eleventh Tier level, it must be unstable or volatile, highly complex or multi-functional. But even so, this can only buy us a short time.'
'That's not necessarily the case,' Ian replied. 'Although Speed Force is a Multiverse Entity, the power it can use in a single timeline is limited.'
'I hope you're right.'
Ian immediately began to concoct this curse, in which he Fusion formulated the rules. Over the past 20 years of studying Soul Limitation, he has made many achievements in mastering the rules or laws.
Therefore, he now masters the laws of all elements except light, darkness, soul, destruction, death, time and space, and Law of Curse. The final product of this curse is a black bracelet, and after extracting some of Wally's blood, it is finally completed.
Ian's plan worked, Speed Force did not remove his mark, allowing him to collect more data. Things were going very smoothly until a month later...
Ian watched calmly as Barry completed today's test and walked out of the portal.
"This should be enough for today, right?"
"Do you think I didn't notice your little move?"
"What did you say?" Barry asked, without revealing any flaws.
"Time Remnant you sent out: Do you think I won't be able to find it?"
"I don't know what you're talking about."
In fact, Ian did not see or notice when Barry created Time Remnant, because Speed Force blocked his sight or perception.
However, the remnant - something like a doppelganger - attempted to travel through Multiverse, primarily to seek help on other Earths. Unfortunately for the team, Ian had already used Rick Sanchez's technology to block this timeline.
"It seems that gentle threats won't work, so let's be tough."
The hearts of the team members sank suddenly. Then, before they could react, they found themselves inside some kind of shield in space.
"Is that the Earth?" Caitlin asked, looking at the blue planet at their feet. They couldn't believe that they were teleported outside the planet's atmosphere so quickly.
"It's a beautiful planet, isn't it?" Ian said, with an eerie calmness in his tone. "It would be a shame if it just disappeared." He stretched out his finger and shot a small purple energy ball.
Boom! The whole planet exploded, and everyone was stunned. No one, including the usually calm Harrison Wells, knew how to react.
"A beautiful but cruel scene," Ian sighed calmly. "7.9 billion people were just wiped out."
"No... impossible," Barry stammered.
"You... monster."
"Calm down: there is no need to be so dramatic," he was still scary calm. He typed the Snap, and a huge clock appeared. Its hands began to reverse, and the team members watched helplessly as the destroyed planet returned to its original state. Before they could figure out what happened, they had returned to the laboratory.
"Next time you dare to play this trick again, this will become a permanent reality," Ian looked directly into Barry's eyes and warned. Then, he slowly walked out of the room, leaving them alone to digest all this.
