Mother Box is a fascinating piece of technology Creation. It is a living computer with many abilities, including turning on Boom Tube (space tearing for teleportation), healing, energy manipulation, gravity manipulation, spiritual communication, etc.

Ian possesses the knowledge and means to replicate all of its abilities, including its nature as a living computer composed of organic and inorganic matter.

Studying this box only adds a new branch to his and Empire's technology tree, but this is not the main reason for his interest in it. According to the setting of the comics, Mother Box's power comes from the "origin", and the origin is [The Presence] or an aspect of God in DC Universe; simply put, the origin is a huge source of power that makes him salivate.

After reverse-engineering Mother Box, he discovered that the setting in the comics was correct; the thing did draw power from a powerful dimension or entity, but he didn't dare to explore it.

[The Presence] is the creator of DC Universe, and therefore has surpassed the Eleventh Tier th position; in other words, he is an entity that has reached at least the Twelfth Tier th position. Although he has fought against God or Jehovah before, the two are not at the same level. Additionally, although the comics often claim that they are the same entity, he is not sure if they really are.

In addition to Mother Box, Ian is also very interested in Darkseid's source of power - Omega Effect. Omega Effect allows Darkseid to travel through time and space at will, so Ian knows that this may be helpful to his Time Game. Additionally, when Darkseid uses Omega Beams, it can erase people from existence, similar to his destructive power.

'If I remember correctly, Darkseid is a Eleventh Tier god, but he is trapped in a higher dimension and cannot interfere with the low-dimensional universe unless he uses an avatar. While his attention is distracted by this invasion, I may be able to sneak into that dimension and steal a little Omega Effect.'

After analyzing the situation, he decided to use a trump card to ensure success: Pseudo-Multiverse Backup Plan.

The idea of this plan is to use his Law of Time to summon the Time Remnant of Floating City; he will summon the Floating City of one second ago, two seconds ago, three seconds ago, etc., until the number exceeds one million.

He would then connect these Time Remnants with the main Floating Citys, thus achieving a transient or spurious Eleventh Tier th bit.

According to past repeated trials, with that forcibly enhanced power, he will only have a very short window period, and he must use this time to steal some Omega Effect. As long as he prepares in advance, this plan may succeed.

Ian wasted no time and immediately began to prepare for his theft. Diana and Justice League were busy preparing for the battle, and he was doing the same thing. So, three days later, the operation began. Ian watched the battle in Mirror Dimension, and each member showed their special skills.

Superman no longer has to suppress his strength and speed, and neither does Flash. Batman used his best exoskeleton suit, Green Lantern used the ring to create some of the deadliest weapons in the universe, Aquaman could flood any area without any scruples, and Steel Bone demonstrated his Technomagic abilities while fighting in tandem with Batman. In the end, Diana is like a force of nature.

She has been using Ian's virtual reality helmet for decades, which has allowed her to learn most of the Empire's martial arts and fighting techniques. She also wears his bracelet, which allows her to control Zeus's sacred Law of Thunder, and she has learned a great deal about lightning magic through the helmet.

Finally, while he was gone, she somehow contacted Olympus and obtained her famous Guardian Silver Bracers/Bracelet of Victory, one of the few things in the universe that can directly block Darkseid Omega Beams.

"Not bad," he commented, and then began to implement his plan. He calculated the best time, and then took action suddenly.

"Ahhhh. Disgusting mortal."

When he escaped from the Darkseid dimension with his loot, these words echoed in his mind. He wiped away the blood dripping from his nose, "The progress was smoother than expected."

"This is just your own opinion," Morgana complained. "Did you see this?" She showed him a screen. "That roar echoed in countless timelines, and may even have affected the entire Multiverse."

"Did it damage or affect anything?"

"No, but now, we definitely can't stay for long."

"That was the plan," said Ian, who immediately began analyzing his stolen Omega Effect. However, the results were disappointing. Omega Effect is a unique power that combines a little bit of the power of creation with a lot of the power of destruction.

Its ability to travel through time simply destroys specific parts of the space-time continuum and forcibly tears out passages to any place or time. This power is perfect for someone like Darkseid, but may be useless against his Time Game.

The good news is that this thing has some value. It is an excellent reference for him to study void energy, which has both the characteristics of destruction and creation. Finally, it also helps him with the law of destruction.

"Did you see my fight?" Diana, wearing casual clothes, asked while sitting in a booth in a restaurant.

"I saw it, it's very exciting," Ian replied.

"Wonderful? Is that all you have to say?"

"Then what else do you expect me to say?"

"Be a little more excited, or a little more shocked."

"What can I say? You almost destroyed Solar System. To me, and even to Darkseid, fighting at this level is like a child playing house."

"Your dimension must be a nightmare for ordinary people."

"Indeed," Ian nodded. "We won't talk about this anymore. Tell me, what happened after I left?"

"The first few years were nothing special. I followed your advice and waited for the right time to become an ambassador of peace in the world of men. After witnessing the atrocities of World War II, the wait became difficult, but I persevered.

"When the time came, I didn't even have to convince my mother because Olympians contacted us and gave me these bracers."

Ian looked at the wrist guards; he could see that they were made in a similar way to Lasso of Truth, but also contained [Guardian Authority].

"They asked me to be their ambassador, and I answered their call."

"Do you know what happened to them?"

"I don't know. I only know that something happened that affected all the gods."

Ian nodded, thinking that this might be related to the Great Merge.

"When I joined this world, Clark, also known as Superman, had just begun to show up in front of the world. It didn't take long for more and more like-minded people to join us, and we formed Justice League to help people."

"You look happy, I mean, much happier than the last time we met."

"How can I put it, I have found a goal worthy of my life, and I am very satisfied with it."

"Yeah, having goals does make a difference."

Over the next few days, the two kept talking and reliving their feelings for each other. They even had a spar, which Ian certainly won, but also experienced a fierce battle.

Her melee talent is better than his, and after using the helmet, her skills are now on par with his, maybe even better, but he still has thousands of years more combat experience than her.

Three days later, it was time for Ian to leave.

"Can't you stay a little longer?"

"Unfortunately, that's not possible," Ian replied.

"When can I see you again?" Diana asked. "I will see you again, right?"

"Maybe."

"This answer is not reassuring."

"I will be very busy. So you may see me in a few months, a few years, or you may never see me. As a dimensional traveler, time is not a constraint for me."

"Your words are confusing," Diana said. "If you need help, just ask and I will provide assistance without hesitation."

"I know, but I don't need to," Ian replied, then looked her straight in the eyes. "Bruce is a good man; I have no doubt he can make you happy."

"So you know everything."

"My previous tantrums were not just because I had a personal problem with him."

"I don't think you're the jealous type," she said with a smile.

"I also have my down moments. But what I just said is the truth - he can give you happiness."

"I don't know. Because of the nature of our work, he has always had reservations about our relationship. Moreover, what you said is always lingering in my mind."

"He can change," Ian added. "I've witnessed it. He did change when he was surrounded by his foster children - those Robins. At that point, you just have to find him the right psychiatrist and he can overcome his trauma."

"Do you really think so?"

"If I didn't think so, I wouldn't say that," Ian nodded. "However, you should be wary of a woman named Thalia O. Gu."

"Why?"

"She and Bruce have a son named Damian, but if you understand what I mean, Bruce did not participate voluntarily in this process of breeding offspring."

"So cruel?"

"I'm afraid so."

"I'll keep an eye out."

"Very well. One last thing, in case we never see each other again."

"Don't say that."

"Listen carefully, because this is important," Ian said in a serious tone. "The entire Multiverse is about to be forced into a war of unprecedented scale. If you want to protect the people you love, make yourself as strong as possible."

Ian sighed deeply, "I want to say that in order to gain power, you can do whatever it takes, but I know this goes against your nature, so I won't ask for trouble. But you should understand my intention, or the seriousness of the situation."

"War? With whom? When will it happen?" Diana asked eagerly.

"I don't know much, but I am sure that with your immortal lifespan, you will live to see it happen. Be prepared."

"I... understand."

Ian nodded, hugged her, and kissed her on the cheek, then jumped into his Floating City and drove to Void; his next destination was the Destiny/Type-Moon universe.
