Ten minutes later, Sakura finally stopped crying. Tohsaka looked at Ian, "What should we do with the other bugs?"
"Don't worry. I've put a curse on them; they should be dead by now," Ian replied casually.
"That's good. In that case, let's go home."
Ian teleported everyone back home, but when they saw the tragic situation in Tohsaka's mansion, they knew something was wrong.
"What happened?" Tohsaka asked.
"He... is right," Shirou said. "Someone tried to let Shinji go."
"Is it another servant?"
Shirou nodded. Ian looked at the destroyed scene around him and was slightly surprised. He expected Rider to take action, but he didn't expect her to act so quickly. He thought she would have to wait at least a day before taking action.
He initially stopped Shirou from going with him, not because he despised him; he didn't want Shirou's moral values to affect Sakura and Tohsaka, and prevent them from killing this scumbag Zouken.
"Can you repair this?" Tohsaka asked. Ian glanced at her and twitched the corners of her mouth. "Please," she added. "Hey, Shirou, haven't you learned basic repair magic? Come and practice."
"Why should I?"
"Part of this mess was caused by you, shouldn't you be responsible for cleaning it up?" Ian retorted.
"You make sense." Then, Shirou began to use the basic knowledge he had just learned to repair the damage caused by the previous battle.
Tohsaka was speechless at this conversation, but Shinji, who was still in a coma, quickly diverted her attention. "Now, what should I do with you?" There was no concealment of murderous intent in her eyes.
"Please... don't kill him."
"Are you serious?" Tohsaka looked at his long-lost sister. "After what he did?"
"He wasn't like this before," Sakura replied. "He used to be a gentle and kind brother."
"That doesn't change what he's doing now."
"Please, for my sake, don't kill him."
Tohsaka looked directly into her eyes. Involuntarily, her eyes softened, and the anger that occupied her brain due to guilt quickly dissipated. "Okay, but from now on, he will no longer be a complete man, and Matou Family's bloodline will also end here."
"Wait, what do you want to do-"
"Mind your own business," Tohsaka glared at Shirou. A few seconds later, Shinji screamed like a pig, making every man in the room shudder involuntarily and clamp their legs. Tohsaka punched him unconscious and stopped his screams.
Ian silently gave this girl a thumbs up. He didn't expect that she would be so cruel and decisive.
"It's time for us to act," Ian said.
"What are your plans?" Tohsaka was now calm enough to listen and plan their next move.
"Caster is still sucking the life energy of the children in the school while setting up a barrier on Ryuudou Temple. Once she succeeds, it will be much more difficult to deal with."
"You're right. I remember you said Rider is their ally now?" Tohsaka asked.
"That's right."
"Then, our best move is to force Shinji to give up his identity as Master."
"I was just about to make this suggestion," Ian nodded, Tohsaka walked towards Shinji, who was still unconscious. She suddenly stopped, "Where is his Command Spells?"
"What are you talking about?" Ian walked up to her and asked. "You're right, he's gone."
"Did you do it?" Tohsaka looked at Shirou.
"Well, no. Saber held back their servant, and I kept staring at him."
"Caster must have done something while you were distracted; for whatever reason she didn't kill you, you're lucky," Ian added.
"That doesn't make sense. Shinji had to be awake to hand over Command Spells, and if he did, Shirou would definitely notice it. So how did she get it? Some kind of magic?"
"It's very possible, after all, she is a very talented magician," Ian replied. "If we can defeat her, I might be able to use a similar spell to seize control of Caster."
"Aren't you Caster?" Sakura asked, and Ian gave her a look like "Isn't it obvious?"
"Because you are Arcane Emperor and you use so many spells, I thought that as a servant, your class would be Caster."
"Because I am too strong, Holy Grail has to weaken me."
"That makes sense."
"Don't listen to his narcissistic nonsense," Tohsaka interjected, then looked at Shirou, "Do you want to go with us?"
"Of course. I don't want to see anything happen to you."
She looked at Ian and asked, "Do you have any opinion on this?"
"No, but Sakura must stay home."
"Huh?" Sakura was obviously unwilling.
"Although you are very talented, you lack combat experience. Therefore, it is best to stay here. I will set up a barrier in the mansion to protect you."
"But-"
"I agree with him," Tohsaka said. "That's it. We have to act quickly before it's too late."
With the help of Ian, they instantly reached the stairs leading to Ryuudou Temple. Everyone except Shirou could see that the temple was surrounded by huge magic power.
"We were almost too late," Tohsaka commented. Barriers are like pseudo-realms. In comparison, they are like arcane/magic towers in Ian's world. Arcanist has an absolute advantage in doing anything in his tower, and the same is true for the enchantments in this world.
Whoosh!
A person wearing a magic robe and a hood covering his face appeared in front of them. After seeing Ian, she seemed to pause for a moment before turning her attention to everyone.
"I didn't expect you to come so quickly," Caster said.
"Do you know me?" Ian noticed her pause and asked.
"This is a strange question."
"I already know that you are the princess of Medea and Colchis. So, if you are worried about this, you can answer my question."
Medea paused, took off his hood, revealing light blue hair and pointed ears, "Nice to see you again, Your Majesty."
"It seems you do know me."
"You don't remember?"
"Sorry, I don't remember," Ian replied. "You are probably one of the magicians I have invited."
"Yes, and thanks to your theory about Anti-Magic, I was able to take my 'Rule Breaker' to a higher level."
Every time he heard the description of his background or legend, Ian wanted to curse Akasha. "I don't mean to be offensive or rude, but is our relationship just for academic exchanges?" Based on his understanding of himself and Akasha's methods, he had to ask this question.
Medea's face turned red, "We kissed once, but you said that after what happened to Jason, my current emotional state is not suitable for starting any relationship."
At this moment, turning Byakugan and cursing are no longer enough to express Ian's feelings about this situation. "Okay, I apologize for not being able to relive the past with you."
"It doesn't matter. After all, we are enemies now," Medea replied. "And I will never show mercy to my enemies."
"Each other."
"In that case, let's see who can have the last laugh." She disappeared from the spot.
"What are you all looking at?" Ian couldn't help but ask when he saw everyone staring directly at him.
"I don't mean to judge, I'm just a little surprised," Shirou said.
"I do," Saber added; she didn't like such unfaithful men.
"I have heard rumors that you are a libertine, but seeing it with your own eyes is quite shocking," Tohsaka commented.
"No one is perfect, this rule also applies to me," Ian shrugged. "Let's move on." Everyone tried to enter the temple, but found that someone was already waiting at the gate. The man looked like a Japan man, with a samurai sword on his waist.
"Who is this?" Tohsaka did not expect this unknown enemy to appear.
"Assassin," Ian replied.
"Why is he here?"
"Caster summoned him."
"Can she do something like that?"
"Obviously, she can."
"What's the plan?"
"Saber, he will be your opponent, let's move on," Ian said, but Saber ignored him and looked at Shirou.
"This may be the best arrangement." So, Saber finally accepted the plan.
"You better win this fight as soon as possible. My gut tells me it's not going to go that well," Ian added before they moved on.
