After arriving at the moon, Ian began observation and analysis. According to what he learned from the Type-Moon universe (memory), the moon should be a supercomputer named Moon Cell created by an alien civilization, with a database comparable to Source. However, after analyzing this thing, he found that it was just an ordinary moon.
"It seems I have to go to another timeline," he murmured to himself and left, returning to Tohsaka's mansion.
"You're back so soon?" Tohsaka asked. He said goodbye to them just an hour ago, and it might be several months before he comes back. "What happened?"
"Something urgent happened, I may need to leave early," Ian replied, and took out a blue gem. "I thought I would give this to you first just in case there is no chance."
"What... is this?" Although Tohsaka was very reluctant, she had accepted the fact that he would leave and never come back.
"This gem will allow you to control Sixth Magic after I leave. This is my last gift to you."
"Are you serious?"
"I don't have to lie about this."
"But, don't you need it?" Tohsaka asked.
"I'm going to a far away place and this thing is of no use to me."
"Can I go with you?"
"Unfortunately, that's not possible," Ian replied. His relationship with Akasha was purely transactional. She allowed him in and did something; in exchange, he provided her with something.
She will not allow anyone from her universe to leave. Scathach is an exception, because the world has rejected her existence, so she can only live in Shadow Land.
"I understand. Will we meet again?"
"Maybe."
"Why are you hesitating? Will you die?" Tohsaka asked eagerly.
"No, but the world is about to enter a terrible period," Ian sighed. "If we can survive the initial turmoil, we may have a chance to meet again."
"What do you mean by this?" Tohsaka felt that these words were very ominous. She knew how powerful Arcane Emperor was, but he said that he might not survive.
"That's all I can say now. I gave this magic to you to increase your chances of survival," Ian explained. "Oh, and one last thing: I still need to use True Magic for a while. So, when the gem emits blue light, you truly inherit its power."
"It also means you've moved on," she added.
Ian looked directly into her eyes, "Except for an adopted daughter, I have no children of my own." Recalling the kind and naughty Charmy, he smiled slightly. Ian walked to her side.
"You can be regarded as my second adopted child."
"I... am not... your... daughter," Tohsaka said, with tears streaming down her cheeks and runny nose. Ian hugged her and kissed her forehead. "I hope we can see each other again."
He disappeared, leaving Tohsaka sitting on the floor crying.
Ian's destination is the <Fate/Extra> timeline, which is where the Moon Cell was first revealed.
Even for people like Ian, it is extremely difficult to travel through parallel timelines; this is why even Zelretch, who controls Second Magic who can enter the parallel world, needs to use gems to reshape a body for himself when traveling to any dimension. The same is true for Ian, but he brings his complete flesh and blood body with him.
When he arrived at his destination, his body was badly damaged and needed several days to repair. His plan went effortlessly, and he soon discovered the secret of the Moon Cell.
In this timeline, people have attempted to invade or access the Moon Cell through many methods, most of which were through mind or soul connections.
Ian goes straight into the heart of this supercomputer and accesses all of its data. The Moon Cell existed before the Earth formed, which means it is over 4.5 billion years old. What's more, for the past billion years, the Moon Cell has recorded data by scanning the Earth every nanosecond.
Therefore, it contains all records or information about the earth, mankind, history, magic and civilization - just like Akasha. In order to prevent accidents, Ian cannot and does not dare to obtain all information from Source, but he did not hesitate to do so with Moon Cell.
He downloaded and stored all the Moon Cell data and quickly filtered it using his Sixth Magic to find the most useful parts.
"There is enough data to build Throne of Heroes based on the power of myth." After studying the spiritual dimension in <Black Clover>, the data collected in <Naruto>, and the information from the Moon Cell, Ian was finally convinced that he could create his own Servant and Mythic Throne.
Without hesitation, he spent months putting the finishing touches on that project and it was finally completed. Now, he just had to go back home and build it.
"However, there is no information about Primordial Runes or Divine Words magic," muttered Ian, who had recently developed a keen interest in the Divine Words magic of this world.
From the knowledge gained by Source, he discovered that the gods in this world are even more "perfect" than Diana. His theory is that Divine Words magic is a unique magic system that can utilize both magic and Divine Power.
"At the next stop, we may be able to find the two things I want," Ian muttered, packed some things, and headed for the destination. He did not plan to jump to another parallel timeline - no, his next destination was to travel back in time to see Arcane Empire.
Arcane Empire exists within a unique span of time. It exists after Gilgamesh separated gods from humans (2600 BC), and before the Anthropic Era (0 AD). During that period, mystery was rapidly declining, and the laws of physics and science were rapidly taking shape due to humanity's collective subconscious.
Ian cast a spell and opened a space-time tunnel leading to the destination. The passage was a bit unstable, so he added two Primordial Runes to stabilize it. However, just when he was about to step into it, he felt a call coming from a specific time-space coordinate.
"This is?"
He noticed something and responded to the summons without hesitation. A dazzling white light engulfed him, and when he opened his eyes, he found himself in the center of a summoning circle. He looked around and saw a man wearing a white mage robe looking at him with a smile.
"I guess it's you," he said, looking at the person with the same face and dress as himself. "So, you are me?"
"Yes and no," Fate Ian replied.
"You are a variant, but also somewhat different."
"Yes, unlike your variants with different personalities, memories and experiences, I am the same as you in almost all aspects. However, my existence has only one purpose - to spread your legend."
Fate Ian shrugged, "Akasha created me so perfectly. I know I can't resist, so I can only accept my fate."
"Is Akasha so powerful?"
"Akasha itself may not be anything, but the person who controls or creates her - that's another matter."
Ian narrowed his eyes, "Give me a rough estimate."
"Between Tier 12 to Tier 14."
"I didn't expect that," he sighed. "Then, why did you bring me here? If I remember correctly, your death will be tomorrow."
"I summoned you to give you something that I hope will shorten your journey in this world."
"Is this Akasha implying that I am no longer welcome here?" Ian asked.
"You can understand that. Come with me."
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Do you want to know if our queens exist in this reality?" Fate Ian asked.
"Yes."
"They exist and they do not exist," he answered. "The possibility of them existing in this world as part of your legend, but the true variants will not exist until they visit this world."
"Do you suggest I send them here?" Ian asked with a frown.
"I suggest. They should come here and try to create a True Magic before they leave. It will be good for them in the long run."
"This is just a suggestion," Fate Ian said calmly. "You can gather more information before making an informed decision."
"Indeed."
"We're here," Fate Ian said, showing them some gems lying on the table.
