While alone in deep thought, Ian found himself at a crossroads, with the decision of whether to accept the Ancient One's proposal lingering in his mind. He knew how serious the current situation was, and for many reasons, he was inclined to accept the proposal.
First of all, the Earth is the center of most events in this world. If he is prohibited from setting foot here, it will be extremely difficult for him to obtain any benefits. Secondly, the position itself comes with generous benefits, such as the titles of Time Stone and Sorcerer Supreme.
However, the most compelling reason that prompted Ian to accept it was his urgent need to obtain a legal identity in this universe.
His previous experience in the Fate world and the turmoil when he entered this world made him clearly realize that the upper limit of power in this plane similar to the comic world Fusion is much higher than that of his home universe.
Therefore, his entry into this universe will never be silent. In the comics, Sorcerer Supreme is a position recognized by eternity - eternity is an abstract entity that represents Marvel Universe and is also the personification of time.
'If I become Sorcerer Supreme and am bound by an oath, then when these top entities notice me, they might be more tolerant of my actions,' Ian analyzed.
'These are the advantages, but there is also a disadvantage - I will be trapped in this world, unable to escape until I exhaust all my abilities.'
He frowned, then realized the choice was obvious; he had come to this world to train for a coming war, and there would be no way out of that war no matter what happened.
'Since I need to push myself, why should I hesitate?'
Ian immediately decided to accept the position, but he had to wait three days before replying to her. So, he began to check his body.
He is in completely good physical condition and has fully adapted after decades of being in a coma.
He raised his hand to summon a strange power, but failed. 'I can't control any laws. It seems that the willpower level in this world is the highest - 10.' Ian frowned, because his willpower was only 9, which was still 1 point short.
He raised his hand to tear apart Void, took out a bottle of Potions and drank it. 'I can enter my personal dimension, but most of my things are in Floating City.' His brows furrowed deeper, 'If I cannot receive the magic power from Floating City, I will have to activate plan B.'
Ian then checked to see if he could sense Netheril or Albion, but the answer was no. 'I can only wait until Morgana wakes up,' he said.
Then he raised his hand and cast a small flame. Over the next hour, the flame went out and then reignited.
'This world can perfectly adapt to all the magic systems I know; this is so abnormal,' Ian thought to himself. All the magic systems he used fit perfectly Fusion together, and he did not feel any rejection or even incompatibility; it was as if Marvel Cinematic Universe already contained these power systems.
'There are two ways to explain this situation. The first is that the MCU has been introduced to these systems and adapted to them. But if so, where was it introduced?' Ian thought of a possibility – Main God is active in this world, just like the Naruto universe. If Cosmic Will of MCU learns these power systems from Reincarnators, this anomaly can be explained.
'Another explanation is that Marvel Universe is adapting to these magic systems to strengthen the entire universe in preparation for war. The Fusion of the comics and this adaptation may be part of this strengthening process.'
Ian feels that both of these inferences may be correct, and there may be a relationship between them. Cosmic Will already knows the existence of these Reincarnators and magic systems, and when Fusion began to prepare for war, it chose this method as another form of reinforcement.
Ian started meditating to promote the rapid absorption of Potions. The next morning, he woke up and went to see Aisha.
"I can take you home anytime, but before you leave, can I see your light?"
"Oh, okay." Aisha condensed the hardened light into a fist, Ian's eyes turned purple and began to analyze it.
"A powerful Cosmic Energy with basic photon properties; it seems to have the ability to distort reality, but is severely limited in the current dimension." He raised his hand and extracted a sample, and used it to calculate the coordinates of Light Dimension, which is also the hometown of Aisha.
Ian frowned for a few seconds and cast several spells at the same time. "Okay, I found a way home for you. Do you want to leave now?"
"Now?"
"You can postpone it if you want."
"No, I'm ready," Aisha replied.
"Are you sure? You can go meet your family before you leave? Maybe even take them with you."
"No, I don't want to disrupt their lives. Besides, I may face some trouble when I go back." She was expelled from Light Dimension, and she will definitely run into trouble when she goes back.
"Since you said so," Ian nodded and took out a syringe.
"What is this?"
"This is my thank you for taking care of me," Ian replied. "This thing contains nanobots that can heal you in an emergency and act as a supercomputer. It can help you better understand or control your light, or assist you with anything you want to do when you return."
"Is your dimension technology so advanced?"
"Yes," Ian nodded. "Do you want me to inject it for you, or do you do it yourself?"
"You come on."
"Are you sure?"
"I've protected you for so many years; I feel like I know you very well," Aisha said calmly.
"I don't know if you're being very kind or stupid," Ian said, administering the injection. Aisha saw a screen that only she could see. For the next five minutes, she followed a tutorial on how to use the nanocomputer.
When she finished, Ian opened a portal, and all members of the Hidden Clan appeared in the room in a coma. "In order to prevent them from causing trouble to your family, you'd better take them back with you."
"Good idea," Aisha nodded, and then asked hesitantly, "Can you help me take care of them?"
"No problem. If you want, I can guarantee that they will live a lifetime of prosperity and food and clothing."
"No, just keep them safe."
"Okay."
Ian waved his hand and opened another portal, but Aisha frowned, "Why can't I feel anything Light Energy?"
"Your dimension will align with Earth on a certain date, but not now. So, we have to travel through several other dimensions to get to your destination."
"I understand." Aisha breathed out, then made a big hand and took the other unconscious Hidden Clan members. "Shall we go?"
"Yeah," Ian nodded and followed her. They passed through several portals and finally came to a place full of Light Energy. Aisha immediately sensed her hometown.
"Thank you," she said, looking him straight in the eyes.
"I am the one who should say thank you," Ian said with a smile. "Besides, I don't think this will be the last time we meet."
"You think so?"
"My instincts are usually pretty good."
"Okay, I'm looking forward to it," Aisha said, walked into the portal and disappeared. Ian collected enough Light Energy from the portal for research, and then returned to Earth.
Two days later, the Ancient One came to see him.
"Thank you for allowing me to send her home," Ian said. The earth is protected by dimensional travel, and he cannot send her home without her consent.
"You're welcome," The Ancient One nodded. "Have you considered my proposal?"
"Yes, I accept."
"Great. Come with me to Kamar-Taj and make an oath."
"No problem. But I have to tell you that I need a month's leave before I can start my duties."
"Oh, is there any reason?"
"I need to save someone, and it's time for me to become stronger." He has been stuck at Tier 8 for too long, and it's time to make a change.
"This is really good news," The Ancient One said. The more powerful he is, the better chance their world will survive. The Ancient One opens a portal to a secret location...
