A complex Rune rune appeared in front of Ian, who was trying to find the dimension of Malakai for the second round of the contest. He, who must retaliate, would never allow this humiliation to end.
"How long have you been awake?"
"It's been three years, right?"
"What? It's been so long? I promised the Ancient One to go back in one month."
"She came two years ago," Morgana said. "I told her you were busy, and she understood very well."
"That's good. So, how do you feel?"
"I feel better than ever." Their souls were connected, so when Ian broke Soul Limit and started the process of Soul Divinity, Morgana also felt his own abilities improve. Ian nodded, "So, what happened?"
"As I said, we broke into a battle between two Tier 12 entities. The shock wave almost destroyed Netheril, and one of the entities even glanced at us. This is why our souls and minds were damaged."
Ian sighed silently, a strong desire to become stronger and reach a higher level welled up in his heart.
"I teleported us, Netheril and Albion to different timelines, hoping to divert their attention," Morgana continued. "I used up my last bit of strength, and Divination left the nearest dimension with the highest chance of survival, and then landed in front of the woman named Aisha. I implanted spiritual hints in her mind to ensure the safety of your body, and then entered a deep sleep to recuperate." Ian exhaled. At this time, he was glad to have her by his side.
"This time, I owe you a big favor."
"Of course. You should praise me more and give me a salary increase," Zi-haired House-elf said proudly.
"I will," he chuckled. "Do you know if Netheril was completely destroyed?"
"Condition is bad, but not completely destroyed. Automatic repairs should have started."
"Can you sense its location?"
"Yes, but it's very vague," Morgana said. "It may take a while to find it." Ian groaned, wondering whether he should build a new one. Since he is now Tier 10, it is not cost-effective to build another city, because the real value of Netheril lies in all the research data, materials and Divine Artifact stored in it.
"Make tracking it and Albion a top priority."
"As you command, sir."
Thirty minutes later, he found the dimension of Malakai, with a sneer on his face. He tore open the dimensional barrier and forced his way in.
"Who dares to invade the territory of the great Malakai?"
"It's me, you red-skinned bastard."
"Boss, that sounds a bit racist."
"Really? Do you think now is the time to discuss this?"
"I'm just reminding you to pay attention."
"Is it you?" A huge anger rushed straight to Malakai's forehead, and he immediately pounced on Ian.
"Want to play with my soul? Then let's play."
A black-red magic circle appeared in front of him, releasing a blood-curdling scream that seemed to shatter any soul it came into contact with. As the attacks of these two powerful men collided, countless painful screams echoed in the depths of the dimension.
"You!" Malakai couldn't hide his shock. Less than a few seconds ago (for such an existence, three years is one second), this little ant was just a snack for him, but now, he is even equal to himself. How can he accept this kind of thing?
"Dark Soulfire," he roared. The entire dimension, much larger than the observable universe, became a furnace, releasing dark flames of unimaginable power.
Ian created a circle of golden flames around himself to block the dark flames. However, he soon found that he was being quickly suppressed. The entire world seemed to be against him, trying to restrain and kill him at all costs.
"Just as I expected. This dimension is like the Divine Kingdom of the gods, giving these creatures absolute power."
[Arcane Realm: World of Knowledge]
Ian uses his new realm, which involves projecting his Soul Dimension while weaving an entire dimension using massive amounts of magic like Reality Marble. His realm collides with Malakai's dimension, fighting for control.
With the newly acquired power, Ian's flame suddenly became brighter and purified the dark flame. He was curious about what would happen if this entire dimension was purified.
Malakai's expression changed because he understood that he was experiencing a dimensional invasion. If the enemy swallowed his dimension, he would lose all power and die in an instant.
'I will never let you succeed,' he thought to himself, and then used his most famous tactic: Soul Sacrifice. He sacrificed trillions of souls to increase the power of the dimension; the battle immediately tilted in his favor.
Ian frowned. Unable to use his laws, his combat effectiveness dropped significantly. He summoned his Time Staff and tried to further increase himself, but failed.
"It seems his dimension has higher authority than yours," Morgana commented. Technically, the staff should have worked in his realm, but it failed, indicating that Malakai's dimension had priority.
'In other words, if I want to use my laws in dimensional battles, I must either find a way to increase my domain authority, or increase my willpower to 10 and use MCU Universe's laws,' Ian thought with a groan.
He used the Haki skills in <One Piece> to give his willpower Grace to his domain. His actions made the situation develop in his favor, but he knew it was not enough.
Therefore, he mobilized the energy in the other two magic arrays of Soul Dimension. After reaching Tier 10, he also upgraded these two magic arrays to Tier 10.
Ian found that he no longer needed to seal these dimensions because magic power had become part of his overall energy reserves. This meant that after becoming Tier 10, he was no longer one of those lowest-level powerhouses who could only destroy one universe; he had enough energy to destroy 4 to 5 universes.
'I plan to add Super-solid Aether Core to the other two layers to further increase the magic capacity, and at the same time follow the route of Dragonkind and build a Dragon Heart that stores magic power in cells. The gods in my universe rule countless Tier 10 planes, so they are usually the top of the Tier 10, capable of destroying dozens or even hundreds of universes.'
With the blessing of new magic power, Ian's domain became more powerful, quickly suppressing Malakai's dimension.
"Mage, you forced me to do this, damn it," Malakai roared, and a glowing purple orb appeared above his huge palm.
He had just found a Dimensional Core and was preparing to combine it with his own Dimension Fusion to elevate it to a higher level, thereby increasing his power and status. But now, he had to use it in battle, which would waste a lot of energy.
The purple orb released a ray of light, and the sound of something breaking echoed in the two colliding universes/dimensions. Ian's realm showed signs of collapse. The throne at the back was split in half, and books were floating everywhere, some turned into ashes, and some were disconnected from the middle.
"What the hell is that?"
"It seems to contain huge space energy," Morgana analyzed.
"I felt a power that reminded me of Kronai."
"Cosmic Will? Is this why his dimension has higher authority than you and does not allow foreign laws to appear?"
"It's possible."
"If that's the case, the world is more valuable than we expected," Morgana said. "So, what's the plan?"
"We retreat. We know so little about this world," Ian said, realizing that there was too much that was not revealed in the movie. So, although he could have used Soul Stone to continue fighting, he decided to retreat and come back later.
He disappeared from the dimension, leaving Malakai roaring in place. After returning to his own universe, he prepared to return to Kamar-Taj, but stopped after receiving a notification from Akashic Records.
