After returning home, Ian went straight to the Time Force headquarters. His Multiverse trip was not just to save the dragon, but to test something.
One of the consequences of Doctor Strange's use of Dreamwalking is to trigger Incursion, which is similar to Fusion that Ian is preparing to deal with.
Incursion is random and disordered, possibly causing one or both universes to be destroyed in the process. In contrast, Fusion expects the universes to merge, or for one of them to remain.
Any form of Multiverse travel can cause Incursion, and using Dreamwalking - a technique derived from <Darkhold> - increases the chances. Ian needs to know what will happen after his trip.
"How's it going?"
"Sir, the data is still being received," La replied, and Ian nodded.
He took this time to send Albion to the Magic Tower and prepare him with the energy needed to return to the top.
"Sir, we have the results."
"From your tone, I guess it's bad news."
"Yes. Our Earth is starting with Earth-125 Fusion."
"Looks like I have to limit my travels in Multiverse now," Ian commented.
"Sir, how would you like us to prepare?"
"What would happen if we destroyed that universe before it collided with ours?" "There is currently no data to answer that question."
"I know," Ian nodded, then sat down cross-legged in mid-air and stared at the future with Eye of Agamotto. He frowned because he couldn't see anything clearly after the destruction.
He stopped this meaningless behavior and walked towards a hidden room. He cast a communication spell and created three screens in front of him, showing the Ancient One, Frigga and Odin respectively.
"What happened?" The Ancient One asked.
"Is the first world Fusion about to happen?"
"So soon? I thought we had decades to prepare," Odin asked. Ian explained his journey to them.
"I understand why you did this, but are you a little too reckless?" Frigga asked.
"Maybe, but we need intelligence and resources, and Multiverse is the best place to collect them," Ian declared.
Odin grumbled. "Now that it's been done, there's no point in worrying about it. Is this the only reason you called us?"
"No. I want to know what would happen if another universe was destroyed before our universe Fusion." The meeting was quiet for a few seconds, and then the Ancient One spoke, "What do you want us to do?"
"Odin, can you use the power of Destroyer?"
"If it's a short battle, it should be fine."
"Great," Ian nodded. "How long do you need to prepare?"
"Give me thirty minutes."
"As you wish, I also want to introduce our new ally - La. He is the leader of Time Force," Ian then projected La's figure and explained its functions. Everyone looked at La, guessing how powerful or influential he would be if he could participate in this meeting.
After Self introduced, the meeting ended and Ian transmitted to Kamar-Taj.
"What do you need?"
"I have something for you," Ian said, handing her another Eye of Agamotto. The Ancient One slowly took it: "She -"
"She doesn't want peaceful negotiations and communication."
"I guessed it," she nodded. "But why did you give it to me?"
"I don't want anything to happen to you in this battle. So, you can borrow soul, space or one of Mind Stone."
"I want Space Stone."
Ian waved his hand and summoned Space Stone from Tesseract. "I will bring you a Time Stone next time you travel."
"Okay." The Ancient One put the gem into the amulet and sent Ian away. She looked at the new Eye of Agamotto. "What is this? A warning?" She shook her head. "It's really sad to live a life full of suspicion and paranoia."
Thirty minutes passed, and Ian led everyone—except Frigga and Odin who only sent Destroyer—to Blank Domain: the space between universes/dimensions/timelines.
When everyone was floating in Void, they saw it. Behind them was the Earth protected by a shield, and in the distance, another Earth was rapidly approaching them. In fact, looking closer, their Earth was also moving.
"Give me some time," Ian said, activating several spells: danger perception cancellation spell, Anti-Divination spell, Cosmic Awareness neutralization spell and Anti-Future-Sight Spell. "Now, let's get started."
La's eyes suddenly turned red, and then he fired a terrifying beam of light. Destroyer also fired a beam of light, but it was golden.
The spell the Ancient One cast was Dark Dimension. She used the power of Space Stone to create a vast dimension, and then filled it with the corrosive power of Dark Dimension.
At the same time, Ian used a destruction spell, releasing an ever-expanding purple ball of destruction, which destroyed all matter, energy and concepts in Annihilation's path.
To the untrained eye, these attacks penetrated the shield surrounding the Earth, and the shield exploded. However, to these men, there was an entire universe inside the shield, and they saw the devastation caused by their attacks.
Ra's beam incinerates galaxies and everything it touches with its intense beam. The Ancient One's attack shrouds entire worlds in darkness before corroding and killing them. Ian's ball of light continues to expand, disintegrating everything in its path. Finally, Destroyer's attack is the most destructive.
Several dimensions had the strength to survive this attack. However, the sudden attack and the power of Destroyer did not give them this chance. The golden ball of light evaporated all its dimensions and some of the people inside.
However, as expected, several people survived this terrible attack. Several Demon Gods and Hell lords, located in the center of the universe (for eternity), Celestials leader Arishem, and several others. They glanced at the Ian group with extremely sharp eyes, and some people did not hide their hatred.
"Prepare--" Before Ian could finish speaking, an unknown force descended from Void, Annihilation all the survivors of Earth-125. Then, they turned into a ball of golden energy and joined Ian's earth Fusion.
"What happened?" Odin asked via Destroyer.
"I don't know."
"Could it be said that if our world is destroyed before Fusion, this is the consequence? Become the nourishment for the winner?" The Ancient One analyzed. "What a cruel game."
"As long as any universe is destroyed, this is our fate, and it may be even more cruel." Others narrowed their eyes. Yes, what if a universe is destroyed before the final Fusion?
It stands to reason that with their strength, as long as they protect themselves, they should be able to win a place for themselves in another universe. But if there is a mechanism that will obliterate them as long as their world is destroyed, then this group of people will lose an escape route in this catastrophe.
"Your actions were reckless," Odin said. There were so many things that could go wrong with this plan.
"On the contrary, this is not bold enough," Ian retorted. "We need more intelligence. Otherwise, can you imagine the consequences if we only learn about this mechanism after our own timeline is destroyed?" Ian also sighed. "It would be great if Luna were here. I don't have to worry about having to use these reckless methods to collect intelligence."
"Wait, your tone says you want to try again?"
"Yes."
"We are very Luck, the sneak attack was successful, but what if it fails?"
"I'll be more subtle this time."
"How?"
"Reincarnation," Ian said. "I will send a small part of my soul to another earth to be reincarnated - thereby gaining the identity of that universe. Then, he will create Fusion with another universe to collect more data and intelligence."
Odin grunted. "What if your reincarnation spell immediately causes that world to merge with ours Fusion?"
"Then we will know how sensitive the Fusion mechanism is."
