"Everyone is here," Ian said, looking at the people at the table. His eyes turned to Tony. "You look terrible."
"It's hard to sleep with so much going on," Tony replied. "By the way, do you have to erase the memories of Pepper and Happy? You made an exception for us; why don't you make an exception for them too?"
"I thought you wanted to keep them out of it, but I can restore their memories if you wish," Ian replied.
"Maybe this is best," Tony said in a low voice.
"What's the current situation?" Fury asked.
"You saw the results. I erased the memories of these people and temporarily sealed their newfound powers."
"For now?"
"No one can escape the coming crisis, so having power is not necessarily a bad thing," explains Ian.
Fury frowned, "I guess the military is trying to use these powers?"
"You're right. They haven't figured out yet that we're in an 'us versus them all' situation."
"So, what are you going to do?"
"My clones are working hard to reach a diplomatic compromise. Every military in the world can use their supernatural powers and begin training to prepare for war Great Convergence.
"However, NATO, Russia and China want their country to have this power first, leaving everyone else to wait at least a year."
"Well, at least you've convinced them that everyone should have access to super soldiers. The feat itself is remarkable," Fury commented, but Ian just snorted.
His clone is already complaining about how boring his job is, and is even asking if conquering the planet directly would be the best option.
In fact, Ian considered his suggestion. However, the future he saw still showed that playing the game according to the rules would have far fewer consequences than simply becoming a tyrant.
"Let's talk about something important," Ian said. "I said I was going to train all of you, and now it's time to start."
"I volunteer to be the first one," Hawkeye said immediately.
"No problem." After everyone discussed the training sequence, Ian took Clint back to his magic tower. He came to a unique place, which was a spacious room with a huge white ball floating in the center.
"What is this?"
"Potential Orb," Ian replied. "This is a magical magic item that uses the power of fate and time to discover a person's talent or potential. No matter how weird or incredible your talent is, it can basically tell what you are good at."
"How weird is it?" Clint asked.
"It once discovered that a man had a mutation in his DNA that produced a unique saliva with therapeutic properties. The saliva only changed when he ate avocados, but he was allergic to avocados."
"Meaning that because he'll stay away from avocados, he'll never discover his uniqueness?"
"That's right," Ian said. "Of course, even if he wasn't allergic, it would be difficult to detect. After all, who would try to cure an illness with this man's saliva."
"That's true," Clint replied, and then immediately became quiet.
"What's wrong?" Ian asked.
"What if I don't have any talent?"
"You may be the best archer on the planet, so you are talented. This test is more to determine whether you still have hidden talents, and to what extent your archery talents have reached."
"I understand," Clint nodded. "So, what should I do?"
"Just stay here and let it scan you. The orb may instruct you to do something; if it instructs you, just do it."
"I understand."
A screen appeared in front of Ian, and he distanced himself from Clint. A few minutes later, a pair of bows and arrows appeared next to Clint, and a voice asked him to shoot the target.
Clint then had to undergo a vision test similar to what patients would do when they go to an eye doctor. The entire test took more than an hour, and Ian received the results immediately.
"Why are the results so abnormal? Is the machine malfunctioning?" Ian asked. He could expect such results from people like Tony, Thor or Wanda, but not Hawkeye.
"I just checked, there's nothing wrong with it," Morgana replied.
"Then let's test it again."
"What happened?" Clint noticed Ian's unusual behavior and asked.
"The testing isn't over yet. We still need to do a few more."
"Oh, okay."
Ian tried three more times, but the result was still the same.
"Okay. Something must have gone wrong," Clint said.
"Honestly -- your test results are off the charts."
"What do you mean?"
"Where to start," Ian muttered. "Your hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and body control are impressive, but they are nothing compared to your other talents.
"Your eyes can be called the prototype of 'Eye of God', which means that with the appropriate detection magic, you can transform them into some truly amazing abilities.
"You have a very high affinity to wind, thunder, sound, space and Light Magic - these are all the magic needed to be a top Magic Archer (Magic Archer). It is unusual for a person to have such a high affinity to one of these attributes, but you scored high on all these attributes - especially Wind Magic, which is simply incredible."
"I guess I'm a genius," Clint said with a blush.
"Yes," Ian nodded with a frown. "But you have reached the point where you are an anomaly. If I can't find a reasonable explanation, I can't feel at ease."
"Hey, I feel offended when you say that."
"This is not directed at you," Ian explained. "Only a magical civilization with a deep enough understanding of bloodline or genetic modification, and the ability to use concepts such as [Luck], [destiny] and [Blessing], can breed talented people like you. Earth does not meet these requirements."
"I don't quite understand what you mean, but it does sound like something is wrong," Clint commented.
"I think I know what's going on, but I have to test it. Follow me," Ian said. He then ordered Morgana to test several magicians from Kamar-Taj. He took Clint to a room with the effect of Time Acceleration.
"The first step in your training is to get your body and magic power to Tier 4 as soon as possible. It would be best if you can reach Tier 6, but Kairos Poison may affect your potential, so we will set it at Tier 4."
Ian left a clone to train Clint, and walked into his forging room. "We should have a Tier 10 bow and eye Divine Artifact, right?"
"Yes. You have made Houyi Bow and Eye of Hanuman."
"Do you have a quiver?"
"There is one number Tier 6."
"I remember I made a quiver Divine Artifact for Tier 9."
"It's on Floating City," Morgana reminded.
"That's right," Ian nodded. He took out the blueprint of the bow and the eye, and modified them to fit Hawkeye. "You are responsible for upgrading these two things, and I will build a new quiver."
The two quickly got to work, wanting to complete their task immediately. Then, Ian put the final touches on his quiver, including inlaying Power Stone into it. Then, he went to the place where Hawkeye trained.
"Excellent," he commented. Even though only a week had passed outside and five years had passed in this room, Hawkeye had already reached Tier 4. Upon closer inspection, it was obvious that he had left no hidden dangers.
"Oh, you're here," Clint said. "I have to get out of here as soon as possible."
"Miss your wife and children?"
"It's been five years. I've missed so many things in their lives." Clint almost cried.
"No need to make a fuss. It's only been two weeks outside."
Clint was suddenly stunned, and then shouted, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Pressure and urgency are very motivating."
"You!"
"Okay. Let's start your Second Tier training," Ian interrupted him, and then summoned the three pieces of Divine Artifact he built for Clint.
