"What happened?" Ian asked.
"Someone just forced his way through the protective barrier we've put up around the timeline," Lahui reported.
"Who? Is it Tony again?" Ian asked, not hiding the anger in his eyes.
"No, it's not him - it's Celestials."
"Arishem?"
"It's not just him, it's Legion," La said, which made Ian groan.
"What on earth are they doing that they have to enter other timelines?"
"I'm not sure."
Ian sighed. "We need to upgrade security so that no one can leave or enter our timeline without permission."
"This was indeed an oversight on our part - there will never be a next time," La assured.
"I believe you again. I'm going to check the situation at Arishem."
"Before you do that-"
"What? Is there anything else?"
"I'm afraid so."
"I don't like your roundabout tone," Ian said. He felt that he was about to hear some bad news.
"We detected the parallel dimension that Celestials went to. The data shows that it is a third-level timeline."
Ian's expression became fierce. A level three timeline means there is at least one Demon God King.
"Have you detected the specific number of kings?"
"Only two energy signatures have been detected so far, but we are not completely sure of the exact number or how powerful they are."
"The two kings mean that this is a 3E-level timeline," Ian murmured. "Okay, I'll handle it."
He no longer hesitated and immediately convened a Council meeting. Soon, the projections of King La, Odin, Frigga, the Ancient One, and T'Chaka and his wife appeared.
"What happened?" Odin asked, and then Ian explained the situation to him.
"In other words, we are going to face Convergence in a world with at least 2 Demon God King ahead of time?" Odin asked.
"That's right." Everyone fell into silence.
"Do we know anything else?" The Ancient One asked. "How many Tier 10 entities do they have?"
"Our technology can only record the highest energy levels, so unless we send out a reconnaissance team, I don't know the exact number," Ian said. The situation is indeed not ideal for them.
"I have almost returned to my peak state. If I fight with Destroyer Fusion, I can fight against one of the kings. Its metal material is very special, so even if I encounter a stronger opponent, I can at least persist for a while."
"I can enhance his vitality so that he can fight longer, but my strength is not enough to directly participate in this battle," Frigga said. According to Ian's rank system, in Ian After studying E's the Library for several years, this Asgard queen only has Tier 9, which is very close to the first Tier 10.
"With Space Stone, I can barely fight against Upper Demon God," The Ancient One said. "Without the earth's defense formation, I am definitely no match for the king."
King T'Chaka sighed deeply. "Wakanda has just recently made a set of the Tier 8 suit. We are not ready to participate in a battle of this scale. I'm sorry, my friends."
"It doesn't matter. I will deal with another king," Ian said. "The question is, how do we deal with this Convergence?"
"Can't we just use the previous tactics?" Odin suggested.
"That might not work," Frigga added. "The kings should be able to detect our attack and stop it."
"And Celestials," The Ancient One added. "They might make good allies, so it's best to send out a rescue team."
"Is it really wise to help them after they have caused such big trouble?" Queen Ramonda asked.
"They did it out of ignorance rather than malice, so there is no point in punishing them," T'Chaka added.
"The Ancient One and the king are right," Ian said. "Celestials can provide a lot of help to our cause, so if possible, we will try to save them."
After that, Council quickly formulated a plan. After everyone agreed on the specific details, they went to prepare separately.
As soon as the meeting ended, Ian summoned Avengers and Wang.
"What happened?" Steve asked first.
"Convergence happened once." Everyone was shocked at first, and then turned their heads to Tony.
"Don't look at me. This has nothing to do with me." The team members looked at him dubiously, and then focused their attention on Ian.
"He's right - it has nothing to do with him."
"In that case, does this mean Great Convergence has already started?" Natasha asked.
"No, this time it was also man-made, it was just an accident," Ian explained.
"I guess you called us here because you have a task to assign to us," Banner said.
"That's right," Ian nodded. "You have a mission. When [Council] and I hold back their most powerful creature, you must sneak into their dimension to find Celestials. If they are in danger, rescue them. If not, bring them back as soon as possible at all costs."
"It sounds pretty simple," Natasha said. "But is it actually as simple as it sounds?"
"What do you think?" Ian asked, and Natasha could only smile awkwardly.
"Banner, Stark, Sam and Natasha, you are responsible for infiltration. Clint, you are responsible for reconnaissance. Agents Steve and Maria, you are on standby to prevent the enemy from bypassing our defenses and entering our timeline."
Ian turned to look at Wang and handed him a Sling Ring with a weird pattern. "You follow Stark and his team. This Sling Ring allows you to open portals between different timelines. You are their ticket home, so protect yourself."
"Don't worry, Sorcerer Supreme, I won't let you down."
Ian nodded. His eyes turned to the last person in the room - not Director Coulson, but Agent Coulson.
"Your job can be said to be the most important," Ian said, which immediately alerted Coulson. "If Council fails and we die in the battle, you will receive a letter with instructions to activate 'Last Stand Plan'. You just need to follow the procedure immediately. Even if Stark they have not come back, they must activate it. Do you understand?"
"I understand," Coulson nodded. "But, what is 'Last Stand Plan'?"
"That was the last resort I left for this dimension," Ian explained. "Once activated, the entire universe will teleport away from its coordinates and become a wanderer. It will instinctively avoid all dimensions and timelines, trying to survive as long as possible."
Coulson took a deep breath. "I know what to do."
Ian looked at Stark's team. "I hope you don't blame me."
"No, we understand," Stark replied. If Council is killed, it only means that their timeline will be destroyed next. In the worst case scenario, Coulson must take the universe and leave them behind. The lives of their families, and the lives of trillions of other people, are far more important than the lives of the four of them.
"Can I go with them?" Steve asked.
"You are not officially Guardians yet, so once you leave this dimension, your strength will be greatly weakened."
Steve heard this and secretly clenched his fists. He was used to being on the front line and making sacrifices, but now, he felt a sense of powerlessness.
"Everyone, go get ready. Clint, come with me, I will take you to your post."
Ian teleported Clint to a tower floating in the Blank Realm on the periphery of their timeline. This thing was specially built to assist Hawkeye's Divine Eye. "Your mission is to use your eyes to find out our enemies and how strong they are."
"I understand," Clint nodded. Ian also left to prepare. With his current strength, without the help of Floating City, it was not enough to fight against a strong King Level. Therefore, he also needed to make some preparations. The whole process took him several hours before everything was ready.
As Ian floated in the Blank Realm's Void, preparing for his first battle across ranks, his thoughts began to wander. 'This may be my last battle in this world.'
'What? The battle hasn't even started and you're already thinking about death?' Morgana mocked.
'You can say that,' Ian nodded. 'I am more thinking about the legacy I left in this vast Omniverse. If I die one day, what do you think will happen to the Empire? Do you think it will continue to prosper, or will it completely collapse?'
'My view is that if the family can stay united and work together, they might be able to save it. There might be a long period of turmoil, but if they can get through it, it's possible to save it.'
'What about its future prospects?' Ian asked.
'You left them a great blueprint,' Morgana continued. 'As long as they follow it, and even learn from the wizard race, their future potential is still huge. Of course, without your guidance, it may take a thousand times longer for them to reach a certain level.'
'Do you really think so?' Ian said with a smile. He wanted to know how they are doing now.
