Time stopped again, but it was different from before. Before the spear hit, a huge clock suddenly appeared behind Ian, and the moment it stopped turning, time around him also stopped.
"Good job, Morgana," Ian breathed a sigh of relief.
"Hurry up, your magic power is losing quickly," she warned. Ian's face became ugly, and he felt that his huge magic power reserve was quickly depleted just because of this spell. Ian had never felt so weak in his life due to the loss of so much magic power.
'These damn Demon Godss have their own dimension, and using Time Stop on them is like making the entire universe Time Stop,' Ian complained. The larger the range, the harder it is to influence time - and, the more powerful the soul, the higher the resistance to such attacks.
If Ian had the same amount of energy as Watarris, he could use Time Stop spells at will and instantly kill the latter. Unfortunately, he is only at Mid-Rank Demon God level, not even a high-ranking one. He only used extraordinary means to achieve the same level of strength as King Level.
Ian exited the attack range of Death Sword. He stopped casting spells and used his reserved magic power to replenish himself. Watarris was able to move again, and the smile on his lips disappeared. He looked at Ian's pale face and the subtle residual energy around him.
"Time Authority. Damn it," Watarris decided not to play the cat and mouse game anymore. A world of blood slowly appeared behind him. Ian's expression became ugly, and he realized what the other party was doing. Just like gods can summon projections of the Divine Kingdom to increase their power in Material World, Demon Gods can do the same to their dimension.
He raised his staff and cast two spells. The first was that he activated another effect of Gluttony Curse that already existed in Watarris's body. The arrogant Demon Gods watched in horror as his abdomen collapsed, releasing a Black Hole that wanted to devour him.
Watarris controlled his dimensional projection to neutralize Black Hole, but to no avail. Ian's second spell was Dimensional Anchor, which prevented the projection from falling on the Blank Realm.
Ian's spell did not completely stop the projection, but it was enough to delay it, allowing Black Hole to cause some damage. Watarris glanced at him with hatred, and then allowed his body to be swallowed up.
However, the danger Ian faced increased instead of decreasing. He immediately looked at the clones Watarris had summoned before.
As expected, the aura of one of the clones suddenly changed; that clone became the new Watarris. Ian controlled his clone to attack, but Watarris was faster than him. His Blood Clones suddenly turned into Kamikaze Corps, destroyed all the clones through self-destruction, and even tried to harm Ian's real body.
Ian did not dodge these attacks, nor did he try to defend with shield spells. Instead, he captured and sealed these clones. As he was doing this, Morgana intercepted Watarris's move to summon the dimensional projection.
Her efforts should have worked, but she underestimated Demon Gods's methods. Watarris sacrificed millions of followers to ensure that his attempt would succeed. Then, everyone felt it. A chill flowed down their backs, their blood stagnated, their life energy became chaotic, and finally, an unparalleled and uncontrollable hunger struck.
Watarris radiated powerful power, making Ian sigh. With the projection, Watarris's laws can exert their full power, just like when he had Magic Domain. 'Morgana, we use equations.'
'Okay. Go distract him and buy me enough time to launch a sneak attack,' Morgana nodded.
'Okay.'
"I've had enough of this kind of foreplay. I have to praise you, a mortal mage, for being able to push me to this point. But now, it's time to meet your end," Watarris said, summoning a sea of blood and controlling it to rush towards Ian.
'It's time to get serious,' Ian thought, and cast a buff spell on himself: Death Protection. A quick analysis of this sea of blood told him that it had the ability to absorb life energy, so he had to protect himself. Then, he prepared to use his most powerful law.
Ian put on a defensive posture, trying to block the sea of blood. However, the sea of blood would absorb all the spells he threw at him while continuing to pursue him. Ian moved while pouring spells like a machine gun, but to no avail.
The blood sea swallowed up all energy and Law Force. When Ian found himself surrounded by the blood sea, a look of despair appeared on his face. The blood sea used its Chaos power to block the surrounding space, making teleportation or any type of space spell useless.
"I will enjoy this feast," Watarris said while controlling the sea of blood to swallow his prey. However, at this moment, Ian did not even move. His staff suddenly shot out a purple beam, tearing open the sea of blood like Moses parting the sea.
A feeling of fear that was even more terrifying than when Beelzebub tried to eat him swept over Watarris. Because he didn't want to die, he forcibly summoned a part of his dimension instead of a projection. Destruction Beam tore that dimension apart like an extremely sharp samurai sword cutting through bamboo.
A large area of this dimension was wiped from the world, and since Watarris was connected to it, he suffered backlash. However, he still survived.
'Now!' Ian shouted.
'Leave it to me,' Morgana replied. An equation echoed in the Blank Realm and locked onto Watarris. Before the latter could react, his eyes became empty and he lost his will and consciousness.
"Hurry," Morgana warned. After successfully using Anti-Life Equation, Ian did not waste the opportunity. He first ordered Watarris to kill all his men.
Kryptonian Legion (Krytonian Legion) was almost at the end of its rope against the other Tier 10 Demon Gods. Odin was barely able to defend itself, but the Ancient One and Ra were having a hard time fighting their opponents. Ian wanted to lighten their burden.
Watarris carried out the order, killing thousands of Demons. Ian's second order was for Watarris to strip him of any contact or control with Blood Dimension. The latter resisted for a few seconds, but eventually carried out the order.
Ian's third command originally intended for Watarris to commit suicide, but Morgana stopped him.
"What's the problem?"
"There is a 75.9% chance that this command will activate his Self protective instincts, causing him to wake up from our control," she warned. Ian mused. Becoming as powerful as them is an evolution, and all life will strive to survive no matter what the situation. So it makes sense that such a command would have the opposite effect.
"In that case, let me do it myself," Ian said, ordering Watarris to stay where he was and not move. Then he cast a spell: Light of Destruction. A dazzling purple light fell from the sky, trying to erase this Demon Gods from Material World.
This should have been the end of the battle, but at the last moment, something unexpected happened. Watarris's aura suddenly changed, becoming more greedy, chaotic, crazy and powerful.
Ian and Morgana's expressions changed, as if they had thought of something. "No way?"
"I'm afraid it's what you think," Morgana sighed deeply and replied.
"It's so troublesome," Ian complained. He didn't expect that it would be so difficult to kill a Demon God King.
