As the Magic Armament Larkspur had received at Bud Rank, Weave Destiny had initially been nothing more than a small, incomprehensible bundle of magical threads. They were few in number and lacking in resilience; even when used to restrain enemies, they appeared exceptionally feeble.
Back then, whenever she faced a powerful enemy alongside her companions, while the others brought out their own Magic Armaments, Larkspur could only wave those few threads around, serving as both a distraction and a shield.
For that very reason, during the early years of her magical girl career, Larkspur had never relied on her Magic Armament in battle.
That did not mean she had given up on developing it. After all, Magic Armaments evolved alongside a magical girl's growth; that was common knowledge.

Yet after waiting several months, she finally discovered that the scissors seemed permanently fixed in that form. After several attempts, she finally uncovered their true use—they had to be used together with the threads.
