Tian Sheng's arrival did not provoke much of a reaction from the man. He did not even bother with any formalities. He merely left a shallow crease in the document in his hand, then looked up and calmly asked Tian Sheng a question.
This manner was quite different from the "leaders" Tian Sheng had imagined.
At the welfare institute, even someone like Director Liu Wenqin, who did not care much for tedious formalities, always showed basic warmth and concern in front of the staff.
But this middle-aged man before him seemed exceptionally aloof, even carrying a kind of... dissatisfaction? It was not directed at Tian Sheng, but rather seemed to be dissatisfaction with the position he occupied.

So he immediately answered, "Yes. We've already cleared out several small gathering points, but so far, we haven't encountered any Beast Shifters."
"That isn't normal." The middle-aged man tapped the desk.
