Once the ability of "Separation" was unleashed, the white mist was dispersed, and the battle shifted further in an unpredictable direction.
The most obvious change was that Larkspur had gone from defending to attacking. However, this "attack" was not simply an assault in close combat, but an attack on information.
Having the ability of Separation meant that as long as she learned and understood one of Yuan's abilities, that ability would instantly be removed from the battle.
Keeping a close eye on Yuan's movements, Larkspur changed the form of her Masterpiece as she traded blows with her, all while observing every move she made and searching her mind for the next target of her ability.
She knew very well what she needed to do now, and what her true objective was. It was impossible to seriously injure or even kill her opponent in such a short time. The only thing she could do was weaken Yuan's abilities.
Although Weave Destiny in its normal state could not permanently deprive someone of their abilities, once "Separation" was successfully achieved, they would at least be unable to use it again for a short while.
The first time she used Weave Destiny, she had separated her opponent's energy. If she could cut away another key concept the second time, Yuan's combat power would be greatly weakened. Then Hong Siyu could defeat her.
And given Hong Siyu's fighting style, what was the greatest obstacle to defeating Yuan?
Larkspur began to consider it.
One of those obstacles was undoubtedly the energy that had already been separated out. Yuan had relied on her own energy to greatly weaken the destructive power of Hong Siyu's Spell Formulas. It was unquestionably a troublesome ability.
And the other obstacle seemed to be the ink-like Magic Armament in her hand.
