"Fairy Immortal?"
The title the other party had given itself sounded rather strange. The words "Fairy" and "Immortal" seemed utterly incompatible together, leaving Lin Xiaolu momentarily stunned. "What is that?"
"Ah, Fairy Immortal!"
Moko, beside her, cried out in surprise. "I never would have guessed! You're actually a Fairy Immortal?"
"You know it?" Lin Xiaolu turned to look at it.
"No."
"Then what were you making such a fuss for?" Lin Xiaolu rolled her eyes at it.
"That title sounds really impressive."
Moko looked at Lin Xiaolu as though she were the strange one. "I've never seen an immortal among Fairies before. Isn't that worth being amazed about?"
Lin Xiaolu was left speechless.
The inefficient exchange between the girl and the Fairy had clearly yielded no useful conclusions. In the end, the Fairy Doll outside the window had to explain itself. "There's no need to dwell on the precise meaning of that title. You only need to address me that way. Anyway, could you stop this endless debate and let me come inside to rest for a while?"
"You still need to explain what you're here for, don't you?" Lin Xiaolu remained somewhat wary.
"What am I here for? Hmm... I'm Fangting City's previous Seeder—the friend of the Fairy Nini."
The doll's round eyes did not blink. "I heard from her that Fangting City is in quite a bit of trouble right now, so I came here specifically to lend you a hand."
Lin Xiaolu silently looked toward Moko.
"I don't know whether Senior Nini has a friend like this..."
Moko twitched its whiskers and spoke uncertainly. "But this fellow looks a lot like a pureblood Fairy from the Garden. Maybe it really does know Senior Nini?"
"Maybe...?"
Lin Xiaolu's gaze drifted back and forth between Moko and the doll
