After finishing her call with the three juniors, Lin Yun lingered in the bar for a while longer.
The drink recommended by the bartender had indeed suited her needs. Not only did it not make her feel drunk, but its refreshing taste made her much more awake. The slight cloying feeling from eating desserts all day also faded after she drank it. Leaning against the back of her chair, Lin Yun scrolled through her phone, replied to the last few work-related messages of the day, then stood up to leave.
Before she left, for some reason, two girls who looked quite young—though she had no idea whether they were magical girls—came over to strike up a conversation with her. Their words were rather suggestive, but Lin Yun merely answered them politely before leaving outright.
She knew it was hardly unusual for people to approach the opposite sex in a bar, but she herself had no interest in it, nor should she.
Returning to the alley beside where she had parked earlier, Lin Yun entered the alley and transformed in the darkness.
When she had arrived, Larkspur had already recorded the coat Ink Lotus had given her into the Gentian Gem's "Everyday Wear Mode." Thus, when she activated the gem now, she immediately changed back into the outfit she had worn on the way here. Afterward, however, she did not retrace her route. Instead, she exited through the other end of the alley and took a detour back to where she had parked.
She knew there were no cameras nearby, but it was still better to be cautious in case someone saw her.
And so, having finally muddled through the identity-conflict crisis, Larkspur got into her car, entered the magic information she had already recorded, and drove back to the Rainbow
