The day before the practical assessment had originally been a rest day for most examinees, but it was now used for the makeup exam.
In order to announce the passing score thresholds promptly, the Examination Institute's graders worked overtime. By that evening, they had finally released the passing lines for the four written subjects, along with the score sheets of many examinees.
Among them, the passing score for Rune Studies was 67, Arithmetic was 79, Aberrant Beast Analysis was 55, and Law and Conduct Standards was 66.
Lin Xiaolu had chosen to retake both Rune Studies and Arithmetic, so her final scores were 72 in Rune Studies, 88 in Arithmetic, 80 in Aberrant Beast Analysis, and 72 in Law and Conduct Standards.
Her high Arithmetic score was perfectly normal, and since Aberrant Beast Analysis was Larkspur's usual teaching focus, it made sense for her to score highly there as well. But the scores in the remaining two subjects could only be described as barely scraping by. While such overall results could still be called below average, they were a world away from Lin Xiaolu's idea of standing out.
Meanwhile, the written exam scores of the others in the team were released as well.
Bai Jingxuan: 87 in Rune Studies, 82 in Arithmetic, 94 in Aberrant Beast Analysis, and 69 in Law and Conduct Standards.
Her Arithmetic score was fairly average, mainly because an illness during her childhood had kept Bai Jingxuan from attending school. The fact that she could barely pass now was entirely due to Larkspur tutoring her day and night after taking her out of the orphanage.
