Loan Shark Company

More than a dozen underlings lay sprawled across the floor. Wu Weigang sat rigidly in his chair, not daring to move.

More than a dozen of his men had been taken out in an instant. No matter how stupid he was, he knew something was wrong. He had thought some reckless young man had come to argue with them, but it turned out the visitor was a real force to be reckoned with.

The man Lu Chengchuan pointed at approached trembling. The moment he came close, Lu Chengchuan grabbed him by the collar and yanked him over. "You dared to fool me?"

"Shut up! Be quiet." Lu Chengchuan made him stop, then reached out and dragged the suited man over. "Do you know where your big boss is? You'd better tell me the truth. If I don't get to see him, you can negotiate with me in his place!"

Inside a brightly lit private room, several men were enjoying massages from beautiful women. After Wu Weiqiang put down his phone, a middle-aged man beside him turned and asked.

Wu Weiqiang covered the phone's microphone with his hand so the other side could not hear him before replying, "It's my younger brother. He ran into a tough one and says the man wants to see you."

He and his brother had a set of "code words." When nothing was wrong, Wu Weigang called him Big Brother. If something happened, he called him by his position at the company.

Calling to say this now meant he had clearly run into trouble.

Lu Chengchuan brought Wu Weigang downstairs. Wu Weigang walked over to a business van, and the two got in. The vehicle drove toward the so-called Cloud Pinnacle Hall.

Less than half an hour later, the vehicle stopped outside a large entertainment club.

The club was not called Cloud Pinnacle Hall at all. It was called Cloudscape Paradise, and from the outside, it looked quite impressive.

"The boss is inside. I'll take you to see him."

Wu Weigang led the way to a members-only private room on the third floor of the club. His big boss and superior were living it up here.

He went up and knocked on the door. Before long, a man opened it, and music immediately spilled out from inside. Seeing the two of them, the man said nothing and merely tilted his head to signal for them to enter.

Wu Weigang hurried in, with Lu Chengchuan following behind. As he entered, the man deliberately gave him a look.

Once the two entered the private room, the man shut the door, cutting off all sound once more.

There were five men in the room. Aside from one older man, the oldest of the rest was only around thirty. There were also five young, beautiful hostesses.

When Lu Chengchuan entered, Chen Qiming gave him a look and confirmed that he did not know him. He was not from their circle either.
