Killing the Blood Fiend

Lu Chengchuan dodged to the side, but the blood arrow had tracking ability.

As he ran, the blood arrow immediately changed its trajectory, turning and shooting towards him rapidly.

The sound of breaking bones reached his ears, followed by the Monster's miserable scream. Its body convulsed violently, trying to break free from the human's grasp, but Lu Chengchuan held its arm tightly, preventing it from escaping no matter how much it struggled.

As Lu Chengchuan was about to throw a third punch, the Monster suddenly severed its own forearm. Losing control, the Monster quickly retreated. As it fled, a thin mist of blood spread from its body, helping its wounds heal rapidly.

Lu Chengchuan threw down the Monster's severed arm and leaped forward, chasing after the Monster.

The Monster was fast, weaving through the defensive line at high speed, but Lu Chengchuan was just as quick, even faster than the Monster. The distance between them was slowly closing.

Lu Chengchuan stirred the black substance, the Monster's brain, until it was completely mashed. The Monster twitched for a while and then died completely.

After dealing with the Monster, Lu Chengchuan got up and returned to the defense line. Without the Blood Fiend's harassment, the soldiers were able to hold the breach. They plugged the gap, stopping most of the Monsters.

A few Monsters still managed to break through, but the soldiers and Espers were able to handle them.
