By the time I opened my eyes, it was already noon. I'd slept straight through breakfast and could go right to lunch.

After washing up, I walked out of the bedroom, and Golden circled me with a leash in his mouth.
"Miluno! Want to go for a walk?"
"Huh? Now that's unusual."
It was rare for him to actually ask to go out for a walk.
Goldie was a lazy dog.
Most dogs went on walks to burn off energy and meet their physical needs, but Goldie was perfectly comfortable at home. He could use the toilet in either human or dog form, and unless food, drinks, or fun were involved, he rarely wanted to go out just for a stroll.
"Can't you turn into a human and go out on your own?"

I had no idea what he was up to, but he couldn't go out in dog form without a leash. With little choice, I decided to take him for a stroll through the city park near our high-rise apartment, if only to clear my head.
