"We're back!"
I returned to Skyreach City from Antarctica with the two little girls, and it happened to be nighttime.
The polar day was strange, too. It had been a clear, cloudless day in Antarctica, yet when we returned to Skyreach City, it was already dusk, close to nightfall.
Still, since it was winter, it was only around five o'clock.
"Hahaha, the little ones are so cute~"
Golden was lying on the floor, surrounded by a group of animal girls cuddling up to her. Perhaps due to Doggy instincts, she was sprawled on her back with all four limbs in the air, while a bunch of little animal girls lay on top of her.
That was a little too intimate. They could all feel each other's interactions clearly.
Though I was a little envious, I still advised her,
"Goldie, mind your image a little, okay? You have guests in this shop, don't you?"
Even if there were no guests at the moment, there were other staff members from the shelter responsible for caring for the animal girls. That pose was far too disgraceful.
"Ah, Ceruno? Wait! I'll get up right away, woof!"
Only after noticing us did she move the little ones piled on top of her aside, hurriedly climb to her feet, and straighten out her appearance...
So she did care about her image after all.
I pushed Nana Xi and Lulu Duo forward.
"Just as promised, I brought them back."
"Miss Antarctic Star didn't keep you for dinner?"
"Yeah. She told us to go home together later."
I had to bring Golden home to cook, or Mom would start getting dangerous ideas about entering the kitchen.
Food poisoning still existed in the New World. Not everything was edible.
Before leaving, though, I looked at the two little ones.
