What kind of world did I want?
Miluno's tone was as casual as if she were asking what I wanted for my birthday...
But I really had never considered anything like that. Especially now that I had a basic understanding of how the world worked, I needed to think it through carefully and approach the question realistically.
"To take that a little further, what kind of world would be better?"
Since this was her area of expertise, Miss Terra appeared at just the right moment.
"That's an excellent topic for some postwar reflection. Would you like to hear my thoughts?"
Of course! What would your ideal world look like, Miss Terra?
"That's far too broad a question! Before we get into that, answer me this: the Earth Crystal's mission is to sustain this planet, but does this world have to have humans?"
"Um..."

"The answer is no, you know? Even if the human species went extinct, the world would still be the world, and the Earth Crystal would still exist... though this 'Simulacrum Personality' of mine, which interacts with humans, might disappear;
"By the same token, even if the civilization on the Other Side disappeared completely, the great will would still exist. She would simply have to start over."

Or rather, gods (Systems). Their existence was intangible and imperishable.
The only ones facing destruction now were the Natives and the Monsters. Even if the god known as the "great will" could not save them, she would still have a chance to begin another cycle.
