"In summary, today's event should follow these rules."
By the time Falcon arrived at Fahrenheit's apartment with Barbara and the herb pouch, I had already settled on a plan for the event.
"First, no brewing potions on-site, in case someone treats Barbara like a wish-granting machine and makes unreasonable demands."
Quite a few influencers looking to cash in on Barbara's popularity had their eyes on her, and they were bound to show up at her in-person events.
"Second, none of the potions we prepare can have medical applications, or someone will definitely come out with a sob story and demand treatment."
That was Fahrenheit's warning.
Even a healer devoted to saving lives could only save a handful. Those they failed to save became a burden, and I didn't want Barbara carrying that burden.
"Finally, every potion we showcase needs a time limit, both on how long its effects last and when it expires, so criminals can't exploit it."
The reasoning behind that rule was even simpler.
Potions with time limits couldn't be resold secondhand and wouldn't affect the people who took them for the rest of their lives, making them better suited to an in-person event.
"No problem. I'll listen to whatever Miluno says~"
Since Hualun and Haitang were sitting on either side of me, Barbara shyly squeezed through the gap between the coffee table and the sofa and plopped down on my lap. She even took my hands and had me wrap them around her slender waist over her little white dress. Her waist fit snugly between my hands, and even through the fabric, that delicate softness was a pleasure to touch. Before I knew it, I was lost in it.
Light, gentle, sweet... and her hair carried the lovely fragrance of grass and trees.
Barbara was the best!
