Agatha had demanded an exorbitant price, and I had paid a great deal of darkness for it.
Azura had enough for one teleportation. I could afford to take a little loss on my end. After all, I really did need Agatha's help to get Azura out.
With things at the institute arranged, my preparations were still only half complete. I still had to see Metal and have my damaged "pocket watch" repaired.
The Exoskeleton Armor had been badly damaged at the Möbius Research Institute. Without repairs, I wouldn't even be able to fight back if I ran into an enemy. I might even need it to operate in outer space...
Uh, could I manage that with my current fire abilities?
But moving around out there would definitely be painful.
Before going to the Steel Dragon Machine Workshop, though, I had to check the results of Azura's adjustments, so I returned to Stratos's laboratory.
"Puyoyo! Big sister!"
It was Azura's voice.
I looked down. She was spread evenly across the floor, with the professor sprawled on top of her, fast asleep.
Azura now had an irresistible appeal that made people want to hug her, and once they actually did, that cool, springy softness wouldn't disappoint. So I could understand why the professor wanted to sleep on her.
Even I wanted to lie down on her...
But I couldn't do that.
"Uh, weren't you two making adjustments?"
The professor didn't respond. Had she really fallen that deeply asleep?
Azura replied, "We're already done!"
"Hm?"
Compared to her previous mound-like bulk, she was certainly much smaller now, but she was still the size of a mattress.
And there was nothing human-shaped about her. She still looked like jelly.
"Don't tell me you'd rather be cola-flavored jelly than a person?"
"Of course not! Watch
