Terra, huh?
The name sounded a little familiar.
I must have heard it before, but I didn't have any memories to go with it.
As I had mentioned before, whenever something felt familiar but I had no memory of it, I assumed it had to do with my girlfriend...
C-could Miss Terra be my girlfriend?!
I looked at Miss Terra in shock, only to receive a puzzled smile.
"Miluno, is something wrong?"
"Miss Terra, are you..."
Are you my girlfriend?
I couldn't bring myself to ask that.
If she really was my girlfriend, she shouldn't have reacted so calmly to seeing me. Besides, this envoy looked older than me.
Could her memories have been erased after the earth crystal took her away, before she was sent out as an envoy... with her appearance changed, too?
"Don't just stand there. Come on in~"
Terra grabbed my wrist and pulled me inside, stopping Liuzi from following us.
"Miss Secretary, leave the rest to me. You can head back now."
Liuzi looked conflicted, as though she wanted to say something but couldn't.
She had only met Terra yesterday, and she didn't feel comfortable leaving me alone with her. I couldn't tell whether she was worried I might do something to Terra, or Terra might do something to me.
"It's all right. Go on back."
Since I had said so myself, she stopped agonizing over it and simply warned me:
"Be careful. You're a high-priority criminal singled out by the earth crystal itself."
I didn't think the earth crystal really considered me a criminal...
More like some kind of protected animal.
Or perhaps a living specimen?
The entrance opened into a reception hall. Following a spiral stairway down led to the Central Control Tower's actual Core Division. Based on my previous experiences, I
