When she said "we"...
Did she mean herself and the Great Will?
Aldebaran had once said that the Great Will was the world's management system, so the Earth Crystal was probably something similar.
"A management system? That's not wrong, but from another perspective, we are also a form of higher-dimensional life. Our lifespans simply seem almost eternal to humans, beyond your comprehension."
It was my first time communicating with the Earth Crystal, yet something about her felt familiar...
The Earth Crystal's original means of communication was the direct exchange of information streams. She disdained something as inefficient and imprecise as "language," or she wouldn't have needed to create a Simulacrum Personality specifically to communicate with people.
Yet to accommodate my feelings, the Earth Crystal had lowered herself to speaking like this.
Did she have feelings too, just like the Great Will?
More than that, she sounded a lot like Miss Terra. Was the Simulacrum Personality modeled after herself?
"The Great Will is extremely similar to us in nature. If you consider us living beings, then the emotions of living creatures are our food. Positive emotions are the fuel that sustains the world's existence.
"But if Earth becomes filled with despair, our light will weaken. Sooner or later, we will fall into darkness just as the 'Great Will' did... Before things reach that point, we must isolate that being completely."
Couldn't positive emotions be used to transform the darkness?
"Although we are similar beings, the 'Great Will' is far greater than we are. That means... even staking Earth's fate would not be enough to save that being. Miluno, your seed has indeed planted a sapling in the desert, but it cannot change the barrenness of the entire desert."
Then on other celestial bodies...
*Especially stars like Sirius, could there be life
