But the barrier covering the dome made the flight completely imperceptible. There was neither the weightlessness of a plane taking off and landing nor even the rocking of a boat. The entire space station steadily flew toward the Moon, while the starry river and deep space reflected above the dome looked like nothing more than a projected image.
