After morning classes and lunch, Su Tianqing, who had no classes that afternoon, checked the Codex as usual and found this strange daily task.
"Hmm..." Fox Fox thought.
It looked simple enough. She just had to summon any monster, and the task would be done.
But what was she supposed to do with the monster afterward?
She had studied the Heartmoon Wand's summoning ability last night. So far, the Illusory Dream Puppet was the only monster she could put away, and it was a very special case.
Every other monster would remain out in the world. If she didn't control them with her mind, they would inevitably cause Freak Attack Incidents nearby.
It would be like taking in a stray cat, then casually releasing it again. The damage to the surrounding area could be considerable.
"I'd better be careful," Golden-Haired Fox Fox murmured.
For now, she would send Hyacinth and Iris a notice of battle.
As long as those two showed up, she could ease off her mind control a little, and the task would be a breeze.

Golden-Haired Fox Fox opened her laptop and typed a line into her villain document, beginning another day's work as a villain.
Being a villain wasn't just about messing around with the official Magical Girls every day!
She had to plan her troublemaking, budget her Divine Codex Stones, and even record the attributes of every monster she encountered or summoned in case she needed the information later!
I'm a professional villain.
As the little fox entered her Divine Codex Stone accounts into the document, her mind wandered.
Ever since she had become a Villain Magical Girl, her days had felt much fuller.
At least she no longer came home from work every day just to play games or exercise. Back then, it had felt as though she was wasting her life.
But now...
Picking fights every day and streaming late into the night took a lot out of her, but both were fun in their own right. She actually enjoyed doing them.
Come on! Now that I'm Fox Fox, of course I should throw myself into the role!

Su Tianqing spoke softly to herself.

The plan in her document gradually took shape.
After giving it a quick read, Su Tianqing nodded, closed her laptop, and opened the Codex beside her again.
She had bought the Heartmoon Wand's first-stage enhancement yesterday and now had 400 Divine Codex Stones left.
It wasn't much, but at least she was more than halfway through an important task:

With the other tasks and daily tasks appearing over the next few days, she figured she could get that absurdly powerful skill before the week was out.
"The Mindscape... Wow, there's even something like that..."
Reading the description of the second-stage enhancement on the shop page, Su Tianqing couldn't help marveling at it.
She could think of at least ten different ways to use it.
For now, though, she wanted to get the enhancement as soon as possible. It would make future tasks easier, too.
...But first, she would check the next task.

It seemed the Codex had finally confirmed what her Magical Girl abilities were.
Hyacinth specialized in agile close-quarters combat, while Iris was a heavy-firepower Magic Cannon turret. Their abilities complemented each other.
Their teamwork didn't seem very reliable, though.
Then there was her companion Hellcat, with her high-speed flying Shrike Form and her gauntlet-wielding Cat Fist Form. Pretty cool, really.
And what was this fox's Magical Girl specialty?
Summon monsters, boost their combat abilities with Enhancement Magic, then pull all sorts of Fox Fox Miaomiao Gadgets from beneath her skirt to finish the job.
That was how Su Tianqing saw herself.
But now...
"I see. So this is what 'wand magic and attribute enhancement' actually does."
After reading the description, Su Tianqing understood.
Before, she could only control monsters directly with her mind. Now they could act on their own!
No wonder she had felt no improvement at all in her Magical Girl form. The improvements had all gone into this!
"If they can act on their own, I'll design a spectacular monster boss fight for Hyacinth and Iris today."
A wicked grin spread across Su Tianqing's face.
She couldn't keep doing nothing but picking on those two, could she?
She still wanted to keep playing with the official Magical Girls. As a villain, she had to give them a little satisfaction now and then.
And a monster that could act on its own was clearly the best way to do that!
After all... once a Magical Girl was completely worn down, playing with her wouldn't be any fun.
With her plan finished, Su Tianqing took out her phone without hesitation.
First, she logged into the anonymous account the Codex had given her and opened a new post.

She finished the post and scheduled it to go out.
Next, she used the Heartmoon Wand to summon a custom-made Monster Capsule and stacked all three enhancements onto it.
Then she used Familiar Summoning to turn the box from the Rice Phone she had just brought home into a cute little winged creature and had it carry the capsule to Wetland Park...
Today was the day to let the monster handle the task on its own!
What? What was this fox going to do while it was busy?
Su Tianqing took out her new Rice Phone and contentedly stroked its smooth, uncracked screen and pristine front camera.
Then she took a selfie in her new autumn dress and sent it to her friend with the cat profile picture.
"Little Fish, Little Fish! My new phone arrived! It takes nice photos, right~?"
The other side went quiet for a moment, then quickly sent a reply.
"The photo looks great. Tianqing, you're wearing new clothes too."
"Hehe, because I'm going out with you this afternoon! See you at the subway entrance~"
"Mm. See you soon."
The phone screen went dark.
The little fox happily put on her new outfit and admired herself in the full-length mirror.
