After watching the opening cinematic played by the Familiars, Nightingale the bard spoke up.
"That seems to be the case." Iris the mage nodded.
"Then... can we take a look inside this mage tower? It looks like there's lots of good stuff in there, woof."
Jack-in-the-Pulpit the rogue peered curiously into the mage tower, looking ready to sneak inside and nab some nice loot.
But Iris stopped that idea.
"No, we can't. The archmage looks like a key character for progressing the story. If we carelessly lower his trust in us, we might brick our save."
"Oh, I get it, woof..." Understanding dawned on Jack-in-the-Pulpit.
Shasha of the Winged Folk stood to one side, carefully examining her character stats, equipment, and items.
