The sky cracked and shattered.

The Magical Girls broke free of the Mindscape's confines and escaped its tangled, chaotic Phantasm Dream Mindscape.

Their magic and spells returned to their control. The girls surged forward, bathing Garuda in light of every color.

Pain struck Garuda from behind. Shadows poured from its burning wings to replace those driven away by the light, shrouding everything nearby once more. But they could not smother the radiance of the shining Stars.

"I've finally got you, Garuda!" Mai Sui snarled through clenched teeth.

The Train Magic Cannon took shape again. A full volley erupted, nearly recreating the barrage that had torn through Garuda's shadow defenses when the battle began.

Without the power granted by the Mindscape, Garuda had to defend itself with its own magic while trying to recover behind a line of Shadow Thralls from the injuries it had suffered forcing its way out of the Mindscape with Shasha.

Garuda needed time. But time was no longer on its side—all members of the heavy-firepower squad were in position, and breaking through defenses was what they did best:
