Zhang Daoling shouted as the golden core within him instantly shattered. His body gradually swelled, then exploded with a thunderous boom. The terrifying blast tore a black hole through the entire space, filling it with violent power.
The Devour Heaven Demon Emperor had never expected Zhang Daoling to be so decisive. He had no time to flee and was blown apart on the spot, losing half his body. If not for the peculiar nature of his body, he would likely have been killed outright. The power was utterly terrifying.
A silver light suddenly flashed across the sky, wrapped around the Nine Dragon Demon Suppression Tower, transformed into a radiant glaze-like glow, and shot toward the rift leading to the human realm, vanishing in an instant.
The Devour Heaven Demon Emperor was in an extremely dire state. The upper left half of his body had been blasted apart. Strangely, no blood flowed out—only a little black liquid dripped down.
His entire face was bloodless, and he had suffered severe injuries. He stared silently in the direction Zhang Daoling had departed, a trace of wariness appearing on his face.
Then his gaze fell upon the two Demon Emperors below. A faint flash of greed passed through his eyes before his gaze settled beneath the Blood Bone Demon Emperor.
The Blood Bone Demon Emperor was immediately overjoyed. "Devour Heaven, quick... save me. Zhang Daoling forcibly refined half of my origin. I... I truly can't suppress this blood sea again and restore my body. There will certainly be a generous reward afterward!"
