Mark avenged his parents by destroying the corrupt 16th Marine Branch, then defeated Arlong and invited Nami to join his crew. After Daisy became the Moss Pirates’ navigator and doctor, Mark met Shanks and vowed to make his own crew one of the Four Emperors.

• Mark discovered the Dark-Dark Fruit and the Combat Bracer, then killed the men who attacked Gaban’s store and learned his power could absorb objects and heal him.
• Mark and Daisy defeated Buffettla’s gang, and Mark left Moss Town with Daisy after Third Grandpa died and the villagers bid them farewell.
• In Clode Town, Mark killed Pock and the White Ghost Pirates, freed the Golden Eagle, and recruited him as Mouth Cannon.
• Mark and Chiu Chiu destroyed the 16th Marine Branch and killed Nezumi, avenging Mark’s parents and erasing the Marines’ corruption.
• Mark and his companions confronted Arlong, killed him and his men, and Mark invited Nami to join his crew, but she refused.
• Mark sailed away from Cocoyasi Village after Daisy confronted him about overlooking her, and he named her navigator and doctor before founding the Moss Pirates.
• Mark met Shanks and refused to join the Red-Haired Pirates, then vowed that the Moss Pirates would become one of the Four Emperors and promised Daisy he could challenge the Celestial Dragons.

Mark left East Blue behind, battled Marines and rival pirate fleets, and entered the Grand Line with Daisy and Chiu Chiu. After learning the Moss needed replacing, he arranged a new ship and raided pirate crews for the money to pay for it, leaving Marcus with the Green Lizard Pirates’ vast treasury.

• Mark defeated Kuro without killing him, then left Syrup Village with Usopp’s message for Yasopp and a growing bounty.
• Mark killed Commodore Bulin Bulin and his officers, then defeated Krieg’s fleet and grew stronger by killing its pirates.
• Mark fought Smoker and Tashigi in Loguetown, killed Tashigi, and devastated the city with Dark Emperor before Hina forced him to retreat.
• Mark, Daisy, and Chiu Chiu crossed Reverse Mountain, met Crocus, and learned that the Moss was too damaged to survive the New World.
• Mark hired Jerry to build a new ship for 1.3 billion Beli and sailed to Wind-Snow Island to raise the money.
• Mark killed Linx and raided the Viper Pirates’ estate, taking five hundred million Beli before moving on to the Collision and Green Lizard Pirates.
• Mark killed Quilado and Jack, slaughtered the Green Lizard Pirates, and found about two billion Beli in their treasury, which he entrusted to Marcus.
